The location of the property worked great for us. It was about 10-15 mn from the beaches, the restaurants and nightlife. The grocery store is less than 5mn away. The villa has a magnificent view of the Serra de Monchique and the Foia. The indoor decor is spectacular and the pool is so refreshing! Sra. Madelena was most helpful and kind. We would definitely stay there again.

A very special place

Excellent location, a beautiful property. We already have a small house in Alvor but needed a larger property on this occasion to accommodate children and grandchildren staying with us. We were a group of 6 adults and 6 children We had a thoroughly enjoyable nine day stay. The beautiful pool got a lot of use every day, as temperatures were in the high 20s low 30s every day of our stay, we found it useful to cool down We enjoyed using the many different seating areas throughout the property indoors and out side, if grandparents needed a little quiet time away from the pool it was available ! Less than 20 mins walk to Alvor central, a 5 euro taxi back if needed, supermarket less than 15 min walk We had cars with us but enjoyed the walk on a good few occasion Plenty of wild birds and beautiful butterflys in the superb gardens I had to do a double take on arrival, yes those were bananas growing at the front door Property was well fenced and we could lock the gates to keep the young children from wandering Happy to recommend as an excellent property and location

Bon séjour dans une agréable maison. La maison est parfaite pour 8 à 10 personnes, située dans un endroit calme à 5-8mn en voiture de la plage. La piscine est bien orientée est très agréable. Tout est mis à notre disposition. Une mention particulière à un accueil digne d'un banquet Autre point à souligner, la facilité de communication avec l'hôte. Enfin nous nous voulons insister sur le service mis à disposition avec Madeleine qui a été parfaite dans l'entretien de la maison, le jardinier ainsi que le monsieur qui s'occupe de la piscine. En conclusion nous avons passé un bon séjour reposant dans une jolie maison insérée dans un joli jardin.

Beautiful villa in Alvor

Stayed for a week in very uncertain times and we could have been more looked after. Alvor was quiet but beautiful. We’d never been before and were pleasantly surprised. The villa itself is beautiful, so so homely with fantastic grounds and pool. We barely left! Picked food from the garden and cooked BBQ’s every night. On arrival we were met with a beautiful spread including local produce, homemade lemonade, wine and a homemade cake. It was a lovely touch. Everyone in the party said it was the most beautiful villa they’d stayed in and is made to feel very homely in the decoration. We would stay again and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great vacation!

First of all: what a great place to spend your vacation! We were met by the caretakers who gave us the tour of the lovely property, ending up in the dining room where they already had set the table for us with local wine, bread, tasty cheese, sausage and not the least, a homemade cake! It was all delicious and gave us a perfect start of our stay as we arrived later than expected and were all a bit hungry. And did I mention the freshly picked tomatoes from the garden? The house was beautiful and clean with everything in order for us, even with gift hats for the guys and beach bags for the girls. A nice surprise! Communication was effortless and they did not hesitate with our request for extra linens and a few things that needed fixing. Our week long stay seemed all too short and we would have loved to stay there for much longer! Highly recommended!
