Little Orchard is our peaceful detached cottage close to the centre of Cley. Well away from the busy coast road, surrounded by lovely gardens backing onto fields this is a haven of peace and quiet (if you don’t mind birdsong!) and we love it here. We hope you will too.
Set back from a quiet lane, it’s still only a short walk from the centre of this lovely village with its windmill, delicatessen, smoked fish shop, pottery, gallery and pubs and equally near the 14th century church of St Margaret. The beach is a 15 minute walk Way through the famous Cley Marsh Nature Reserve and from there you can walk out to the great space of Blakeney Poing with its sandy beaches, dunes, seals and nesting birds.
Simple, light and comfortable, the cottage is double-glazed throughout with oil-fired central heating, a wood burning stove, carpeted bedrooms and wood or tiled floors elsewhere. The ground floor bedroom with its own en-suite shower room is ideal for those who prefer to avoid stairs and there are two more bedrooms upstairs, perfect for mixed generation holidays.
