"This homely, south facing, ground floor holiday apartment within a complex of 62 dwellings near the pier, is conveniently located for quick level walking access to the coast, harbour and town. It comprises a spacious bedroom with blackout curtains, double bed and single bunks, a lounge/kitchenette with dining furniture, a double sofabed, oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, toaster, shopping trolley, picnic backpack, iron and ironing board. Whilst furnished with a home-from-home feel, it has gentle reminders of being at the seaside so relax and enjoy.
"Heating is by way of portable electric units, an immersion for hot water and a powerful electric shower operates over the bath. All of this, together with bedding, linen, bath/hand/tea towels, lighting, and basic essentials are included in the cost of your stay. So too is free access to the beautiful heated pool open May to end September. Checking in and out is unobtrusive in that you have your own access and departure responsibility.
"The private patio/lawned garden, with shrubs and outdoor furniture, as well as buckets and spades, is idyllic for your own al-fresco catering or a haven for soaking up the sun. Also suitable for storing bicycles. Car parking for one vehicle, just meters away, is secure.
"A splendid heated outdoor pool, set in tropical landscaped gardens and shared by all guests, is so welcoming on either hot or cooler days and is open throughout the summer.
"The apartment has two entrances, and is tastefully furnished to accommodate families of 5, maximum 4 adults, but we cannot accept party bookings for hen or stag entertainment. Wheelchair users, please note that there are two steps into the apartment and a narrow entrance into the bathroom might not allow for wheelchair access. The front entrance via the main gate is on the flat to the interior door
"Because of the splendid coastal location of this lovely holiday home, you are in close proximity to the town shopping centre, supermarkets, restaurants, parks, bus depot, railway and steam train station, rugby/cricket ground, theatre, cinema, and launderette. Wifi is not available.
"Cleaning is thorough and carried out with professionalism.
"Added to all of that, you've got flat access to the clean sandy beach. Have fun!"

Very cosy stay
We had lovely stay. The apartment has everything you need and it is very cosy and clean. Owners made sure that we didn't have any problem. Communal swimming pool is fantastic!!!

our thanks to these good people for giving feedback on their arrival at the apartment, which is so helpful in getting things better all the time and so glad they are likely to return.
Lovely clean accomodation, all amenities needed for a fantastic holiday right by the sea front. Easy checkin/out, plus clean swimming pool.
Only negative is hearing a lot of noise from the apartment upstairs, kids running about causing the light fitting in lounge to rattle!

Our neighbours above are having accoustic flooring installed to remedy sound issues, so so sorry this had a dramatic affect on your stay there this year.
Great location for exploring Paignton town and travelling around Devon. Accommodation was great with the benefit of a patio. Kitchen could have done with more utensils and upgrades on pans but managed to cook on a wet day in. Disappointed that there was no cafeteria as one in the photos. Also only 1 toilet roll as was there for 7 days. Host was quick to respond. Thank you.
Property is very Central, one of our group had a mobility scooter so access through the garden was spot on.
We explored further west an area we had not done before property was central to the resort bur close to the areas top attractions Excellent

Absolutely amazing location to explore Paignton and the pool is the star of the show. The apartment was comfortable and had lots of extras such as games, etc, but it could do with a good wipe down and the drawers being cleaned out (lots of crumbs in the cutlery drawer, etc). The host was excellent at communicating with us for check-in instructions and replied quickly to any messages
Stayed in this property for a week over all it was good, a few minor things need updating ie: toaster needs replacing, hair dryer needs replacing, toilet brush was very dirty and brown, frying pan needs to be nonstick, handle missing on bedroom cabinet, sink in kitchen area dirty and stained last but not least TOO MANY SEAGULLS TOO MANY FEATHERS

It's always good to hear the thoughts of our guests, but would respond that there's a replacement toaster in the kitchen cupboard, as shown in the welcome pack, but we couldn't find a fault with the existing one. The hair dryer is smallish but works fine. We've always had aluminium pans. The extra cabinet is for the display of pamphlets and leaflets. The sink is regularly bleached but has suddenly lost it's protective coating and will be refurbished, so too will the loo brush be replaced. As a result of your comments, measures are in hand by the managing company to have bird scarers installed by a specialist electrician.

Am astounded to hear about the fridge because the guest had emailed me on arrival to say that the flat was fine. The housekeeper found that this guest had saved valuable changeover cleaning time by stripping the bedding on his departure. The upper level shouldn't have laminate flooring and this will be looked into with the managing agent.
Big enough for 2, well equipped, sun trap & private little garden..

Lovely location but with noisy neighbours
Lovely location within a couple of minutes walk of the seafront and easy driving distance to attractions in Paignton and along the south Devon coast. Apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Only downside is that noise really carries from the flat upstairs and could constantly hear thudding doorsteps, voices and the television at all hours. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to enjoy quiet evenings in or are a light sleeper.

Couldn't fault anything on our stay at no.9 esplanade court .Fantastic location just behind the seafront.The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need from a home from home staycation .Communication from host was also excellent and we much appreciated the tea,coffee and milk left for us.We will definitely be back.
