Casa C yök Casa + Cultura

Casa C, your own little hotel for 8:
Casa C is perfect for a group of 8 people; friends, family or even work colleagues. It has 4 double bedrooms, each with a luxury, 100% natural bed and an en-suite bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table and a living room with a gallery (the typical balcony closed of with glass windows) can also be enjoyed. One of the bedrooms has a balcony, another one has an original 1900 wall fresco. Upon request, one of the bedrooms has the option of a king size bed, instead of twin beds.

The apartment (95m2) was renovated in 2014, (see details of our eco-renovation here) following eco-design principles and respecting the Catalan modernism from 1900. It is a very special place to make up to 8 people feel at home.

Excellent apartment in a perfect location. Family of 7, including 2 children, stayed here very comfortably. For separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, can’t be beat. Central located so we walked everywhere. Highly recommend and would certainly rent again!

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable apartment in Barcelona! It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better — we were able to walk to most of the main sights and great restaurants. Our host was so kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay even better. Perfect hospitality and property

We had a group of 8 and fully exercised this apartment. It was clean and perfect. Best yet is the owner/staff. Mari, Isabella and Sandro were very welcoming and had superb pre arrival coms.

My family and I had a fabulous time in Barcelona. The apartment was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved having a bathroom attached to each bedroom. The apartment was centrally located so we could walk to many of the sites of the city and to many restaurants. Mari communicated well explaining everything we needed to know before our arrival. She also recommended a car service from the airport which was great. Check in was seamless even though there was a marathon taking place when we arrived. Sandro couldn't have been more helpful getting us settled. During our stay Mari checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying the city and to answer any questions. We definitely will recommend this apartment to any friends and family that will visit Barcelona in the future.

Soup to nuts an absolutely lovely stay in the heart of Barcelona. Mari reached out way before our arrival to ensure everything would be just as we wished. The units are lovely, historic and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend her property to anyone. While I was unable to meet her in person, my guests who did would not stop talking about her kindness and professionalism. What a gem!

Great 4 bedroom unit in east location for visiting city

Unit is as described and shown in the pictures. 3rd floor with elevator and stairs available, Property manager had great communication leading up to and during our state. All questions were answered, unit was clean well stocked and spacious. Recommended and stay again next time we visit

Honestly incredible place right in the heart of Barcelona

We were 2 families staying together across Spain, France and Portugal for 2 weeks. This was the nicest place we stayed at the whole time with the best combination of host, amenities, and location. The yök team really cares about your experience AND your impact on the environment, neighborhood and city. Each room has an en suite bathroom which is just unheard of. We were there during July which was HOT and most days we couldn’t wait to get back to the place for an air-conditioned siesta before heading back out for more sights and dinner. If we go back to Barcelona we will rent from yök again, without question.

Fantastic Place

My husband and I, along with 6 friends stayed in this beautiful apartment. We were close to everything we needed to get to. We did not use the metro as the folks we were with wanted to take taxis. Sandro was a fabulous tour guide and I recommend booking a tour with him on your first night in Barcelona. He recommended a great restaurant called Tantarantana. We loved it so much we ate there twice. You only receive a big towel and a little towel for each person. I recommend asking for more for an extra fee. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

A Barcelona Treasure

We really enjoyed our stay at this historic Barcelona apartment. We were met by Sandro, our host and were warmly welcomed with cold drinks on the office terrace. Sandro also spent time familiarizing us with the area and the map of Barcelona/ He sent us restaurant recommendations, and at the end of our stay, arranged transport to the airport. The apartment was very clean and stocked with water, tea and coffee. the decor was interesting and used repurposed items in an innovative way. The location was in the heart of Barcelona, we could walk or take the metro to the whole city. The apartment was great, but Sandro is the real treasure. We would stay here again!

Loved everything about this property. The staff is incredibly helpful and was supportive leading up to and throughout our stay. The careful attention given to the protection of the environment was evident in every part of the apartment (recycling receptacles in the kitchen, glass bottles of chilled water waiting for us in the refrigerator, a master shutoff switch so A/C and all lights are easily turned off before leaving the apartment and just as easily turned on once you return.) We spent 3 weeks traveling around Spain and this was a clear favorite with our family. The balcony was spectacular! Sitting in the comfort of A/C while feeling like you were in the trees enjoying the city below was amazing. I highly recommend this property. It exceeded our expectations!

Marie our host was great. She helped us in every aspect of our stay. Welcoming was great sitting with her and having refreshments. It was nice to be able to store your luggage with her prior to our 3 pm check in. The one negative is not having any soap and shampoo in the showers. They should tell you in the listing to bring your own! Overall the stay met the needs of our 3 couples and you could not beat the location which was central to everything!

Regarding the shampoo and shower gel, I’m sorry this detail did not feel clear enough during your stay. We do provide Atalis Shampoo & Shower Gel with Calendula and Chamomile, suitable for both hair and body, and this is included in the instructions. When you asked us during your stay, we also explained that the bottle is placed by the sink and can of course be used in the shower too. At yök, we try to reduce unnecessary plastic and avoid placing several containers in each bathroom, as part of our commitment to more responsible hospitality. We understand this may be different from a more conventional hotel set-up, but the product was available in the apartment throughout your stay. Thank you again for staying with us.
