Nestled in the delightful coastal village of Seahouses, Turnstone is a great choice for couples and families with the beautiful beach close by.. Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: Freeview TV, Patio Doors Leading To Garden

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Turnstone is nestled in the midst of a terrace situated within a modern development in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Seahouses. The living space is positioned on the ground floor where patio doors lead to an enclosed, south-facing garden at the rear, ideal for dining alfresco. Both bedrooms are on the first floor with views of the sea from the master bedroom, which enjoys the convenience of an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom, ensuring Turnstone is suitable for couples, families and friends alike.

There is a wide array of facilities available within Seahouses including tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops; all within walking distance of Turnstone. Boat trips to the Farne Islands depart regularly from the harbour and the islands are well worth visiting to see the comical puffins and grey seal colonies.

The picturesque village of Bamburgh is only 3 miles north and a further 2 miles brings you to Waren Mill and Budle Bay. Beadnell Bay, renowned for its watersports on the glorious stretch of golden sands, is only 2 miles south of Turnstone. Travel inland to the historic market town of Alnwick where there is a good selection of amenities along with Alnwick Garden and the castle which became Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Beach 400 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Great Location

Overall the stay was very good. Positives: Location. Nice quiet street. Parking. Pet friendly. Negatives: Cobwebs and Dog Hair under couches. House was very cold when we arrived and took a few hours to heat after switching on the heating.

The house is in an excellent, quiet location and has everything else we required. Although it’s no frills accommodation, the tv, WiFi and being so close to the beach for our dog were great. Kitchen functional and handy to have a washing machine and freezer.We have had a good week in spite of the lack of sleep. The 2 single beds are unfit for purpose. They are probably circa 1940s bases with springs which have had planks of wood put over the top. Every time you move in bed it creaks and keeps you awake. Mattresses not great either but I appreciate this is personal preference.

Turnstone's location is fabulous, the beach being a stone's throw away and just a short walk into the town. Perfect. It's a lovely little house. Just one little thing, it would benefit from a shower over the bath in the main bathroom in addition to the shower cubicle in the en suite.

Lovely sea view. Fully equipped. Good price. Only downside cleanliness is a bit off. The skirting is very dusty as were the door panels on the inside of the doors. Attention to corners round the floors needed. The shower in the en-suite just needed a toothbrush to remove brown stains around the shower fitting

Very comfortable and convenient. Two parking space, 3 toilets, one bath and one shower. You have all you need and it's very close to shops and pubs. The only thing to note is the sea view master bedroom. It's not really sea view, rather you can see the sea from the master bedroom if you stand by the window and peer out
