The stay was wonderful and really gave us a great experience for Japanese living! Especially the futons and tatami, were very comfortable. Host is very responsive and kind, and answered all our questions promptly.

An authentic experience of Kyoto

The house is beautifully renovated to both preserve the details of a traditional Kyoto townhouse --garden, ofuro, fusuma, tatami, etc--but equally modernized to make our family of 11 totally comfortable. Loved it

This place is amazing!

This place is amazing! It was very comfortable. They even left us a handwritten welcome note and some cookies as a treat when we checked in which was very nice and very much appreciated. The apartment is very stylish and has a relaxing feel. There is a small garden area that you can see from 2 tatami bedrooms and one of the bathrooms for soaking your tired feet after walking through Kyoto all day. We also checked out Sake Cube a few minutes away it was a really fun place! Also good bakeries nearby. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay again one day!

Perfect!

Perfect location, very convinience for tourisme and traffic. supermarket just in 100m by foot. metro in 50m by foot. Directly opposite the Nijo Castle. The house is very nice with traditionnal Japanese style decoration and with modern equipement for life. Very clean, very comfortable beds, a lovely japanese garden in the middle. It is a very unique and wonderful experience, Thanks so much!
