Lowe-McConnell is a luxury terraced cottage set on the site of the Freshwater Biological Association, one mile from the village of Far Sawrey, close to Bowness-on-Windermere. This cottage sleeps two people and has a zip/link king-size double, a shower room and a open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with balcony. There's also off road parking for one car. Lowe-McConnell is a wonderful cottage for a Lake District getaway, with plenty to see and do in this superb area.

Amenities: Biomass central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair to be requested 14 days prior to arrival and are subject to availability - cot linens are not provided. Allocated roadside parking for 1 car. Balcony. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shop 1.5 miles via ferry and Hawkshead – 4 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Children must be supervised at all times due to balcony. Note: This property has an interconnecting door to Ref 1024718, the door will remain locked during your stay unless booking both properties and requested otherwise at least 14 days prior to your arrival. 4pm check in.

Note: Pick-up and drop-off ferry point situated approx 100 yards away. During seasonal peaks the ferry service may be in high demand due to its popularity. Footpaths lead from the grounds to the village and Claife Heights - a noted beauty spot of forests and tarns. Watersports are close at hand on Windermere, along with Lake Cruises and the majestic Wray Castle to admire. Fishing can be enjoyed on nearby Esthwaite Water and, of course, fell walking.

Stunning!!

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Stunning location, very well equipped with quality furnishings. Warm and cosy yet modern and stylish. Beautiful lake views and right at the landing for the car ferry which takes you across Lake Windermere in just 5 minutes. We will definitely return 😃
