Easy Walk to the Plaza, Gated Retreat, nearby Ski Santa Fe!

Gated community. Walking distance to the Santa Fe Plaza. Santa Fe Ski area and Ten Thousand Waves Spa are nearby!

After booking with us, a week prior to your stay I send address, directions, and codes to gain access to our condo, as this is a Check-in and Check-out with no person to person contact. Please take screen shots or print out welcome letter with codes, as sometimes attachments won’t load when you want them to.

We pride ourselves in making sure our place is clean, all hard surfaces are disinfected, sprayed and well ventilated between stays.

A detailed map on how to get to the Plaza from our condo, as well as some suggestions on things to do and some of our favorite places to eat!

This fully furnished one-bedroom, one -full bath condominium has been renovated in style including bamboo floors, central air conditioning, skylights, and tiled kitchen and bath. There's a cozy, covered patio at this second floor unit's entrance, granting you privacy within the El Matador compound. As you walk through the door, you'll be greeted by an open floor plan in the living space and by the large Kiva gas fireplace. Meant to enjoy, the over-sized sofa & chair in the living room are perfect for your current read, or to watch a movie. Additionally, free WIFI access. Amenities also include a stacked washer and dryer, Netflix, Hulu and DVD player.

You'll find large wooden shutters on the windows and doors add to the condo, keeping the unit cool in the summer and warm in the winter months. There is both central air condition and heating throughout. The adjoining, fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for a great New Mexican meal, complete with a breakfast bar and dining table.
French doors in the dining area lead you to the covered patio overlooking the landscaped garden area, complete with patio furniture for your lounging pleasure. A charming King size bedroom awaits with a walk-in closet.

Enjoy the many sunny, Santa Fe days; or the patio for those starry nights. You'll come away ready to return to Santa Fe, with memories and full-heart.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the Southwest decor. It was nice to come back and relax in the living room after a close walk to the plaza. It was very clean too! Comfy bed. The covered parking was wonderful, as well as the gated community. We were able to walk to breakfast and dinner each day on the Plaza. The owner had great communication and made sure our stay was perfect. Love! We will definitely stay there again when we come back.

El Matador is a pleasant gated condominium complex. A short walk to the plaza and downtown. This condo is upstairs and very quiet. It has a lovely Southwest feel to it. The Fort Marcy Park is close by with work-out facility, pickleball courts, and ball field. We loved our time there.

This one bedroom tastefully furnished and decorated condo had everything we needed during our two-week stay. There is a designated covered parking spot next to the condo. The condo complex is gated and is in walking distance to the Plaza and all other attractions of the city of Santa Fe. We hiked almost every day and there are over 100 hiking trails with a 10 mile radius, according to AllTrails. The drive to other attraction in Northern New Mexico is also easy.

Fantastic Location

This location was perfect for people looking to expire Santa Fe by walking to the plaza. A definitely highlight we used every day. The owners were great with communication, check in and out was seamless, the place was clean and well decorated, and the location is in a safe, quiet, and gated community. Just darling!

The condo is cute as a Spanish button with a New Mexican touch. Very conveniently located (by car 2 mts & by feet 10 mts) to the Plaza. The condo complex is extremely quiet. The only comment is that there isn't a ton of storage so, pack light! Lovely stay!!!

The condo is cozy and comfortable on the second floor. It is perfect for 2 people visiting Santa Fe. You’ll be able to walk to the plaza and most things around it. We loved our stay, it felt like home, with all the things one needs in a well decorated space. Bed was comfy, kitchen has all you need, save parking. Can’t ask for more!

Perfect for Two People

Our stay in Santa Fe was wonderful, and a large part of that was due to the comfort of the VRBO we stayed at. It was everything it stated: clean, quiet, comfy bed, easy to use appliances, and the location was a short walk into the plaza area of Santa Fe. There was a wonderful walking area directly across from the VRBO, which was perfect for an early morning walk. Parking was also conveniently located on site. We have no complaints about the VRBO, and we would definitely stay there again! Really enjoyed our time in Santa Fe!

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Fe!

Jessica's home was incredibly clean and comfortable. Most days, we left the car parked and took the short walk to the Plaza. But no matter how we went exploring, we looked forward to coming home after a long day to enjoy a simple meal prepared in the cute kitchen. We'd then kick back and relax on the super comfortable couch and chair. The bed was just as comfy and everything we needed was there. We look forward to returning to Santa Fe and again staying in this beautiful home.

The property, location and amenities were great. We stayed the week of Christmas. There was snow and sleet as we arrived. The covered park was really nice. So, this was a white Christmas for us. We are in our 70s, and with parking difficult downtown, we usually Ubered. However, a couple of times there was difficulty getting an Uber

Great Condo

Condo was in a beautiful neighborhood of Santa Fe. Loved being able to walk to the plaza and didn't have to drive. The check in was great and no problem. Only problem was the TV and internet but who goes to santa fe to watch TV.

A Santa Fe Feel Throughout

When looking for a property for our first time to Santa Fe we wanted a place that truly represented that southwest feel and this was it. They did a wonderful job decorating with souwest blankets, artwork and colorful tile throughout. The place was perfect for the two of us and even though we never walked from there to town it was very convenient to drive. The complex was super quiet too. It almost felt like we were the only ones there. The price was also a huge plus. It was much cheaper than any other place we found. Our only issue was never finding the wifi password. I would highly recommend staying here!
