The villa
From the moment you step foot in VILLA MARITA you will feel as though you are on top of Eden Rock.
There is an infinity pool, which appears to flow into the sea, as well as large windows that showcase the majestic Sardinian rock and Mediterranean vegetation – both of which will leave you breathless. The property is equipped with 4 double bedrooms: 3 with sea view and 1 with mountain view, all with walk-in closets and private bathrooms.
From a separate entrance, one can access an additional master bedroom with private bathroom and closet. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are fitted with contemporary furnishings, while the walls are lined in artworks from an emerging Milanese artist.
The outdoor furniture, made of fine Acacia, is ideal to share relaxing moments and outdoor meals by the pool, with outdoor barbecue available. Cleaning services are also available should they be requested.
VILLA MARITA, with its serene and private accommodations, is the ideal place to spend your vacation with family or friends.

Excellent villa and breath-taking view

We loved our stay at Villa Marita. The moment we entered the front door, our jaw dropped because of the panoramic ocean view beyond the infinity pool. The villa is contemporary and clean. Great layout for multiple couples with lots of indoor/outdoor lounge area, while each bedroom has its own walk-in closet and on-suite bathroom. The view is fantastic: you get the beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and on the other side the tranquil and undisturbed mountains. We've been in contact intermittently since the booking and have been very happy with the speed of response and the accommodations. Check-in and check-out process was breezy. The location is fantastic if you want to relax in a more secluded area but lots of restaurants / beach / activities within 20 min drive. In one sentence, we loved it and would not hesitate to go back! Thank you!

Issues we had around Ferragosto week

The property is in a great location with distant views onto the sea and is very modern. So far so good and required for the price that is charged. We spent with a group of 8 a week in 8/2022 around Ferragosta and it was a very disappointing stay. Over three evenings/nights we had blackouts that didn't really allow for any life in the house (no cooking, fridge, lights, aircon etc.). Upon arrival this potential issue was indicated through a disclaimer in a booklet – but not prior – thus unlikely unforeseeable or a „one-off event“. Given most other houses in the area weren’t equally affected, it is likely a technical and structural problem with Villa Marita (and some immediate houses) with no solution as it appeared. For this to happen over 3 out of 7 nights clearly doesn't deliver the enjoyment of a high profile property. The refusal by the landlord to offer an appropriate compensation afterwards is just rounding things up. How disappointing!

Dear Dirk, I am really sorry to hear that you did not fully enjoy the beauty of the Villa. As mentioned to you before, Villa Marita was not the only property that suffered from it, but the entire neighborhood of Eden rock. As a matter of fact, the problem was given by ENEL the national electricity entity provider. We tried to pull our strings to fix the problem by contacting our specialized technicians, but the problem was not within our reach. Moreover, we managed to buy a fuel combustion power generator, to avoid this problem in the future! I am even more sorry that our offer, to make up for the mistake, was rejected.
