This charming restored fisherman's cottage rests in Whitby, North Yorkshire and can sleep up to five people in three bedrooms.

Kiwi Cottage is a lovely fisherman's cottage nestled in the coastal town of Whitby, North Yorkshire. Set over three floors, the property hosts one first-floor family room with a double and single, and one second-floor double, together sleeping a total of five guests with a family shower room. Downstairs provides a fitted kitchen and an open-plan living room/dining area with an electric fire. Kiwi Cottage is a wonderful choice for a family break to the coast of the North York Moors.

Amenities: Gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, Smart TV and WiFi with super fast broadband. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. There is no direct parking outside the cottage. One well-behaved pet welcome, £20 supplement. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.3 miles and pub 0.01 miles. Note: Staircase is quite narrow and care must be taken. Note : new blinds in every room

Lovely and great location

The location was amazing and it’s a lovely little cottage. I’m not sure I’d go back with my little ones just as the staircase is very steep and the bedroom doors don’t close properly The kitchen and bathroom were nice and clean but the rest of the rooms were a bit dusty The duvet and mattress on top floor weren’t great but the first floor beds were good. The neighbour has an obsession with the bins but he was friendly enough We appreciated the tint on the windows in the living room but had to close the blinds down on the top section as some people staying nearby were looking in via the top panes I’d recommend this to people with older children and adults but without stairgates I wouldn’t take young children
