Eildon Melrose Holiday Cottages & Log Cabins - Luxury Log Cabin with Hot Tub

Winner of the "Best Green Holiday Home" award at the European Holiday Home Awards 2021, Our eco-friendly log cabin has a gorgeous open plan living room with underfloor heating, exposed log walls, a vaulted ceiling and stunning views of the Scottish landscape outside the large glass frontage. In the cosy sitting area there is a wood burning stove (generous supply of logs, matches and firelighters provided) and if you can stop gazing at the beautiful views there is a smart tv with complimentary Netflix account.
The hand built kitchen has everything you need to prepare home cooked meals with wonderful local produce available in the lovely array of independent shops in Melrose, less than a mile away.
Large glass doors open from the living room on to a large wooden decking area with private wood fired hot tub, wooden garden furniture and a fire pit with log seating area.
There are two luxuriously appointed bedrooms in the cabin, one downstairs and one upstairs on a mezzanine level. Both can be made up with two single beds or zipped together to make huge superking double beds. There is also a sumptuous shower room with large, powerful rain shower and unlimited hot water from our eco-friendly heating system.
The cabin is perfect for families, groups of friends or as a romantic escape for two as there is a 15% discount for two person occupancy.
The cabin also welcomes up to two well behaved dogs (must be over 1 year old, extra charge of £25 per dog, please mention when booking). There is a fully enclosed garden and heaps of great dogs walks on the doorstep.
The central location of the log cabin within the Scottish Borders is perfect for exploring the region and there are lots of events and activities to suit all age groups and interests.

Amazing modern lodge in a stunning location, so peaceful and not too far away from the village of Melrose, would highly recommend for a relaxing break. Loved sitting in the hot tub watching the abundance of wildlife in the fields next door!

I am so glad we found this log cabin, it was amazing, loved the location and the cabin it's self was outstanding. the attention to detail, everything you could ask for. so quiet and peaceful just what we wanted. our dogs loved the garden and watching the world go by. definitely will be back.

AMAZING!

I stayed here for the weekend with my family and dogs, this lodge is one of the best places we have ever visited. Pictures dont do the scenery justice, it is an absolutely stunning location with plenty to do. Beautiful walks right out the front door and brilliant dog friendly pubs near by. Could not recommend this place more highly!! The lodge itself is immaculate, bedding is luxurious and it provides everything you need and more. The wood fire hot tub was a firm favourite of ours! Will definitely be back, thanks for having us x

Unique accommodation in a beautiful setting

This is an excellent place to stay, perfect location with countryside views, but still walking distance to the local town. Very well equipped, well maintained and clean.
