Very well equipped property and spacious. Great that there’s a bath as well had small children. As described the walk to the beach is doable but pushing toddlers back uphill in their strollers is not for the faint hearted! There is a weekly car park rate in Porthtowan which is worth considering if going to the beach each day. Great vibe & food in the Blue Bar in Porthtowan a must visit if you can. Twin beds mattresses & slats not comfortable but hopefully after our visit mid June they have now been upgraded!

Thank you for taking the time to reveiw your stay. We are delighted that you enjoyed the area and the spacious, well equiped property. It is definitely one of our most popular houses and one that is enjoyed by many families. As with many beaches around Cornwall, Porthtowan is hidden in a cove where many of the holiday accomodations are set just above on the hillsides making the walk to the beach picturesque but steep. However, as you have stated very well worth it once down in the village with the glorious beech and places to eat and drink. I am sorry that you had an issue with the single beds during your stay. The beds have now been changed and bramd new ones are in place so we do hope we will see you again sometime in the future. Kindeset regards Cornwall Hideaways
