Lovely little sea side cottage, very well equipped and appreciated all the little extras to make our stay extra special. Perfect location for exploring 2 minutes from the beach, every one was friendly and welcoming in the village. Can highly recommend

Happy New Year! 😊
It was the first time that we had visited the area . The property was perfectly placed to enjoy Staithes and visit the surrounding area. The house was very pleasant, comfortable and we had a great time.

Thanks for your kind review, Rosemary. I hope you will consider staying with us again for any future visits to Staithes.
Kind regards

Lovely village, the parking rules are rather draconian and I to bend them somewhat, it was also not the greatest location for my 86 year old father who is less than steady on his feet nowadays.
Very quaint cottage in a prime location. Slight issue with access as my husbands wheelchair was too wide to get into wet room but Jon and Shona with the help of their friend Phill came to the rescue. They went above and beyond to help and were excellent hosts, thank you . It would not put us off returning.

Thank you for your lovely review, Christine and thanks to you and Chris for your patience! We're so glad that the access issues could be resolved by Phill and pleased to hear it hasn't put you off returning. ☺️
Glad you enjoyed your stay. The welcome pack sent via Vrbo email contained information about entry code, parking, rubbish etc but guest said she had no access to email. The welcome pack that is usually in the cottage for guests was currently being updated following the installation of the new wet room so I can understand the confusion and is a situation that should not happen in the future.
The cottage was well planned with places for 6 people to sleep but the kitchen was very small and was in dire need of updating. There was really only comfortable seating for 4 people and the wet room didn’t really dry out and this made it difficult to use the facilities in the room. We did enjoy our few days in Staithes, however, with the interesting harbour, pubs and cafes - everyone was so friendly.
Lovely cottage, quite spacious inside - not as little as it looks on the outside. Scarily steep&narrow access road if, like me, you're a nervous driver! But compared to some other places in the higgledy-piggledy village, access to the property is actually relatively easy!!
Very central location and a lovely place from which to explore. But if you're not used to country living, be aware that places shut/stop serving much earlier than you're expecting. We had to eat earlier than we normally would!
Lovely location in the old village just few steps from the harbour/ beach. Well appointed property, large lounge, 3 beds, small kitchen and bathroom. No outside space. People need to be clear that car parking is 3/400 yards up a very steep hill. Didn't worry us but elderly and/or infirm would struggle. Part of the property is below a first floor apartment could hear folk moving around/ scraping chairs etc. but no big deal. Overall we had a fabulous few days.

We can only apologise again for the oversight. We did offer to have the cottage cleaned at the time but the guests chose to make alternative arrangements so we provided a full refund.
