No smoking.. Jacob’s Folly is the perfect base, for your group or family - only 15 minutes from the coast and 45 minutes from county town and UNESCO City of Literature, Norwich, as well as all the natural, historic, and scientific marvels in between, this is a fantastic place to get away from everyday life. Jacob’s Folly offers comfortable beds, full cooking facilities, and a large wood-burning stove, making this striking structure the perfect relaxation retreat for you and your loved ones.

If you’re looking to have a day at the seaside, then the beautiful fishing town of Cromer has wide beaches, famous crab suppers, a traditional Victorian pier and a 300-year-old lighthouse, and is only 13 miles north east of Jacob’s Folly. Closer to your cosy home is the ruined fortified manor house Baconsthorpe Castle, a Grade I listed building run by English Heritage.

Honeysuckle Hut (QU7066) can be booked with Gooswing Hut (UK7072), Jacob’s Folly (QU7115) and Chere Amie (QU7616) to accommodate up to 18 guests.



Pets must be kept on a lead at all times.

We had a fab time staying at Jacobs Folly the location was so Idillic, opening the doors to the wood

We had a fab time staying at Jacobs Folly the location was so Idillic, opening the doors to the woodlands everyday was wonderful! I would say you wouldnt want more than 2 adults 2 kids! Bijou! Hosts were very welcomingWe went in October and did use the pool once which was lovely and warm. Little more home made then I had imagined based on the pictures
