Peaceful 2 bedroom villa with private pool
Welcome to 5 Acre Wood. A homely comfortable environment for the perfect holiday. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature by our sunny swimming pool. Eat on the shady terrace overlooking the wooded hills and valley, while inside the house is fully air conditioned for a comfortable nights sleep. Perfect for families or friends. We have fabulous countryside views and it is a haven of peace and tranquillity yet only 12km from the bay of St Tropez, and 10 mins by car from village life in La Garde Freinet or Grimaud. The accommodation comprises:
Living/dining area on ground floor leading to back terrace and swimming pool, up 3 steps to kitchen.
Also on ground floor master king bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower and WC). From living area up 3 steps to separate toilet. Up another 3 steps to second bedroom with twin beds and en suite shower room. There is also an open mezzanine in this bedroom with the 5th bed (not suitable for young children). Air conditioning throughout.
There is a large south facing terrace giving sunshine from dawn till sunset, and a view down the valley to the distant hills. There are trees providing shade, and hidden corners to find solitude. There are steep drops in the garden which you may find unsuitable for very young children.

Jim and I have been living in La Garde Freinet for 20 years. I have been running a property management company looking after second homes, many of which have rented for holiday lets. I recognise what people want from their holiday home and have made every effort to make our home comfortable and well equipped for you. Jim works in the Ski Industry, and when not in the South of France, we love to head to the Alps, summer and winter. I love to cook and we have a healthy social life eating, drinking and enjoying our friends company. We also love to travel, collecting memories from our holidays to decorate the house with. We are walkers and cyclists and bonne vivers!

What makes this property unique
We are nestled on the forested hill side of the Val d'Arnaud, 5km from La Garde Freinet, 6 km from Grimaud and 8km from Cogolin, with their restaurants, bars and shopping. Although quiet we are not isolated as there are other properties nearby. We are 1.1km along a dirt road which isn't suitable for low slung cars although normal cars are fine. Village life and all amenities are easily accessible by car in 10-15 mins. The nearest beaches of the Golf of St Tropez are only 12km away.
