Beautiful views all round.
Beautiful views all round. Lovely place despite serious wind and rain on first two days. Very comfortable.Owners are probably aware that there is a leak when there is extreme wind and rain causing a pool on kitchen low windowsill. Also we think the toilet in the double bedroom may be leaking.None of this dampened our stay, just want owners to know so they can deal with it.

Our second stay at this lovely apartment and had another great time.
Our second stay at this lovely apartment and had another great time. Was surprised to find a Robin hopping around the apartment on arrival though!! Not sure how it got in but we managed to get it out!! Did make us laugh! Not a complaint but the toaster is a bit temperamental, still managed to burn on the recommended settings so be careful. Very comfortable place with amazing views and everything you need. Hope to come again in the future.

What an excellent gem of a place to stay.
What an excellent gem of a place to stay. The views from every window are stunning. We packed everything from tin openers to tea towels and didn't need them as everything was included, in fact we didn't want for anything. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are homely and spacious. The added bonus of a garage, especially in the winter time, saved a lot of scraping the windscreen, plus making the car secure. What a fabulous week's holiday we had. In fact we took my Mother-in-Law, who had never been to the Lake District, and she is making plans to return!Thank you so much for a thoroughly wonderful time. We will return.

This cottage is a delight.
This cottage is a delight. Quiet location but close to Keswick for all amenities. The views are superb and we loved watching the birds (especially the antics of the pheasants) from the comfy chairs in the bedroom. We tried some of the walks from the door, but unfortunately there had been so much rain in the preceding days/weeks that the ground was extremely boggy and the areas in front of gates were like swimming pools! However we thoroughly enjoyed walking in places like Borrowdale just a short car drive away. The cottage is spacious and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, glasses and cooking utensils, as well as cleaning materials. Just remember to take things like milk and sugar as well as your tea and coffee so you can make a brew when you arrive! The heating is oil-fired and as the boiler is in the kitchen this did create a smell which our son didn't like, but it didn't spoil our stay and we would love to return in the future.
