Cant fault it other than the stairs, but for walking in the area its a great place to stay :)
Good size for two people, the kitchen was well equipped and it was lovely and warm. Perfect if you're in the lake district for a few walks with easy access to Blencathra, short trip from the main motorway and easy enough drive into Kendal.
If you are sensitive to road noise and plan on a few lay-ins maybe take some earplugs.

Such a cost, warm and welcoming cottage. Instantly feels like a home away from home. Superbly equipped and near to some of the most surrounding walks and tells such as Skiddaw and (right above) Blenchathra. Parking right outside the lodge too (if your car isn't too big!), which is really handy for unpacking. Check in/out is easy. Easy to find too. Will definitely be returning! Great for couples or people on their own.
