We absolutely loved our stay at Vila Vida, it’s in a great location, has fabulous views and the pool is ideal (especially with a 3 year old!). The Vila is very well equipped (even with lots of inflatables/games). Jean Paul was super quick to respond to any queries and very helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Girls Trip!

Spent a week in Ferragudo and we loved it! Property is as described and loads of room for a girls getaway or a large family. Close to some yummy restaurants and beautiful beaches. Ferragudo is the perfect local village close to some large more touristy locations. Had a minor issue arise and property owner dealt with it timely and was great to deal with. Would certainly rebook if ever back in the area.

Amazing views!

We stayed for one week at Vila Vida and had a fantastic time. Ferragudo is a lovely, quiet fishing village and the proximity to the larger and busier Portimao meant that we had the best of both worlds. The property itself was perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool and we loved the views from the roof terrace and the balconies.

Perfect location

Ferragudo itself is a gem, and this house makes the most of it. Conveniently located. We loved the views and the different balconies and terraces at the house, allowing different vistas and choice of sun or shade. Excellent communication with the owner.

Great Little Property in Ferragudo

Great location away from bustling Portimao, very comfortable with lots of space, great rooftop terrace. Difficult to beat for the price. Some mattresses and bed linen should however be replaced and there should be more lights on the terrace. Would recommend

Nice Christmas in Ferragudo

We had a nice stay in this lovely house in Ferragudo. A beutiful view over the village and the sea. The owner was extremly fast to respond when we contacted him and very helpful The apartment is very nice with lovely terraces with nice view and sun. Just spent 10days in villa vida house it everthing you could wish for . The house is tastefully decorated and more than well equipped. Spotlessly clean and in a very good location with superb views off the town and portimao. The villa is only 5 minute walk downhill (uphill back) or a 10 minute walk flat.for a small town Ferragudo has some brilliant resturants we did not have one bad meal during our stay would not hesitate in recomending villa vida

Fantastic Stay at Vila Vida!

We travelled as 2 families, including 4 teenagers. We all really enjoyed our 3 week stay at Vila Vida and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place in Ferragudo. The villa provides ample space for 8, was very clean and included everything we needed during our stay. Communication from Jean Paul was excellent and a couple of minor problems we encountered were dealt with immediately. We will definitely return to Ferragudo as we loved the area and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Vila Vida again.

Fabulous holiday at Vila Vida

We are 3 couples, all over 60 and Vila Vida provided all of the facilities we could ask for. With 3 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms we were able to claim our own private space. With 2 full kitchens, storage of food and drinks was never an issue. The views from this location were incredible, and we spent many hours on the various patios and pool deck. Jean-Paul's instructions for entry were concise, and the Vila Vida app he provides, plus the binder of recommendations were very helpful. Any contact I made with Jean-Paul was answered almost immediately. This place is exactly as pictured in his VRBO site. It was a short walk to great dining (we loved Port Arade) and there are 3 grocery stores within 3 minutes by car. Your place was perfect for us. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your place for a week Jean Paul!

Vila Vida beautiful location as home base for families in the Algarve

We had a fantastic stay for a week at Vila Vida. Six adults and two infants had plenty of space. We were provided with infant cots and high chairs and plenty of towels and linens. Well stocked for a short stay but for longer stays will need to re-stock on essentials like toilet paper and soap. Jean-Paul is a fantastic host and took good care of us. Ferragudo is the perfect hub for a home base for families in the Algarve. Charming and beautiful. The most outstanding part of this property is the view. The pictures do not do it justice and we enjoyed it at every opportunity of our stay. Thanks you for having us.

A lovely home from home

We’ve just returned from a week at Vila Vida - and would absolutely recommend. Jean Paul was a great host, nothing was too much trouble, and his team were especially helpful ensuring we had a travel cot and gates on the stairs for our baby. The home itself is situated very close to Ferragudo square, and has beautiful views over the sea. It’s very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay. The pool area is nice, though the pool itself a little cold in September - we still managed to swim most days. The 2 living areas were well used, along with the kitchen areas too. The rooftop provides the most beautiful 360 views, and has an outdoor kitchen we used a few times. We will definitely be back, and had a wonderful stay!

Great villa

This is a lovely villa,great location,about 10 minutes walk to all the restaurants in the main square ,15minute walk to beach,ferragudo is wonderful place ,Lidl is about 10 minute walk and easy to order Uber back if you have shopping and are not planning on using car,there is small mini market across the road in vitors village for essentials,villa is spacious and the upstairs bedroom in particular has stunning view along with roof terrace,villa has pretty much every thing you need including inflatables for the kids ,could use a little tlc in places and the ground floor bedroom is not ideal with washing machine in next room seems like the room could use a little ventilation as there was damp smell but all in all great villa ,location and pool

An excellent stay

What a hidden gem! A very comfortable, spacious and well equipped house including air conditioned rooms, two grills, private pool etc. We stayed here with 4 adults (we rented the house +apartment ) and our 1,5 year old twins. With some pragmatic adjustments to the already quite kidproof interior, Vila Vida proved to be a safe environment for our kids. And being situated on a small hill, the view from the roof terraces is absolutely breath taking, overseeing the town, bay and local fishermen. The house itself has lost of places and seats to get comfortable. Within a short walk you’ll find the easy going village of Ferragudao, which has a lot to offer. The owners were very friendly and service minded, prior , during and after our stay, giving you a real sense of welcome. If there is a downsize to this place, it´s that the cleaning is not quite up to the standard we would expect. But all in all, highly recommended!
