Beautiful spot

Great size bungalow. Every room is en-suite. Beautiful pool area right outside. Lots of outdoor (shame most of it in the shade all day). Very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend and happily stay again if I were to return.

The place is amazing. The owners are very professional.We had a little problem with hot water. The owner put everything he could to sort out this situation.Very helpful, fluid communication.Everyone who works for this place is happy to work for them. Holidays there will be good holidays for you for sure.Environment and house are clean and well managed.We would go again there.

Peaceful Paradise

We hardly want to tell anyone about this lovely property because we want to keep it a secret , all for ourselves! Tucked away in a village location, these little houses are surrounded by lush vegetation including large leaf plants and fragrant flowers. The pool is heated and unlike so many others, you can actually swim lengths in it , sunbathe and then swim again. The pool is shared but all the guests, from across Europe, were respectful of the space & privacy of others. The reading room is brilliant as are all the little nooks for sitting and relaxing. The house itself , No. 13 was spacious for all of us to spread out and have privacy. The bathrooms are all marble tiled and the showers, hot with copious amounts of water. All the staff were friendly and supportive and helpful. Located near petrol stations , supermarkets, restaurants and attractions , this place is secret and quiet. Highly recommended …but please don’t tell anyone … we want it all for ourselves!!!

Urlaub unter Palmen

Bereits zum 3. mal besuchten wir die Bananenplantage im Süden Teneriffas. Die ersten Besuche waren allerdings 15 Jahre her, so dass wie etwas Angst hatten, enttäuscht zu werden (vielleicht hat es sich zu stark verändert). Dem war absolut nicht so. Die Anlage liegt sehr ruhig und gemütlich zwischen vielen Palmen,Pflanzen und natürlich Bananen im meist trockenen Süden der Insel. Das Haus, welches einen direkten Zugang zum Gemeinschaftspool durch eins der 3 Schlafzimmer hatte, ist einfach gehalten. Es hat alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Der Pool ist traumhaft: klares Wasser mit einer sehr angenehmen Temperatur. Liegen sind ausreichend vorhanden. Da die kleine Anlage etwas außerhalb liegt, ist ein Auto für Ausflüge auf der Insel sehr zu empfehlen. Essen zu gehen ist auch kein Problem, es gibt auch Restaurants im Ort oder eben in der Umgebung und die Küche ist auch gut nutzbar. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen und uns eine tolle Urlaubszeit machen. Langeweile kommt auf jeden Fall auf Teneriffa nicht auf. Es gibt immer wieder Gegenden, die man noch nicht kennt. Ich kann die Plantage jedem empfehlen.

3rd Visit

The 3rd Visit to this property and never fails to meet our expectations. The property is spacious with an en-suite in each room. The kitchen is more than adequate for a holiday rental we had 50% of our meals in the villa and 50% enjoying the local cuisine. We love the pool area, shaded areas and reading room that leads into the plantation. Our check in challenge was acknowledged and addressed. There had been a duplicate booking as there is more than one advert however this was resolved quickly. Flying gnats that bit were a problem all over Europe, the first time in Tenerife we have been bitten. Take citronella burning sticks and a good insect repellent and sting relief. We hired a car giving us access to all the local restaurants arriving feeling fresh with air conditioning. We take a couple of fans as it is really hot but let's face it transitioning from Scotland to Tenerife it's going to be hot! We will definitely return for the quiet location, facilities and peace of mind it meets our family needs offering enough space for everyone.

Besser geht nicht

Ein großartiger Ort zum verweilen. Wir waren 2 1/2 Wochen dort und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Besitzer waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Hausangestellte war sehr darauf bedarf uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Es wird sehr viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt! Der beheizte Pool war natürlich das Highlight für unsere 2Jährige Tochter. Die Anlage ist sehr gut gepflegt und unser 8Monat alte Sohn hat die Ruhe und die Spaziergänge in der Bananenplantage genossen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Im Dorf gibt es Bäcker und Supermarkt aber auch einen größeren Spielplatz. Man ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto am Meer. Monkey Park, Siam Park, Jungle Park, alles nur in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus ist in 10 Minuten vom Süd Flughafen zu erreichen. Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte sind die Küchenutensilien. Pfanne, Korkenzieher, Messer… müssten einmal ersetzt werden. Wir haben fast jeden Tag selber gekocht und das war somit etwas umständlich. Wir können diese Wohnung für Familien nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Winter sun break

The property was generally clean, with a couple of areas that could have used a little more attention. The hot tub was grim when we arrived and was unusable, however, this was addressed a few days into our stay. Having said that, it was never warm enough to actually use! The kitchen was pretty new, but as we wanted to use the kitchen everyday to prepare meals (several of us have food allergies so it is just easier!) we found that we could have done with a few more pans and dishes, but we managed and the cooker and hob were fine. No real problem with checking in, however, the lady that showed us in didn't speak much English and we don't speak Spanish so we did not get any information about the place and there was absolutely no information in the property, eg, recycling, how and where to dispose of rubbish, general housekeeping stuff. We needed to get a taxi so required a number, that sort of thing. We were emailed some local info regarding restaurants and supermarkets before we went, but it would have been useful to have some leaflets and things to let us know about island attractions etc. The pool was lovely, warm but not overly hot, very clean too as was the surrounding pool area. The kitchen, eating and sitting area are all together so this worked really well for us, it was a very sociable area, which we enjoyed especially given that we were cooking and, therefore, clearing up each day so it was great that we were able to all be together. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and are definitely considering going again.

Thank you for your detailed review. I am glad that you consider to come back and stay on this finca for a next holiday. I am glad that you enjoyed that much the pool on the end of December. Yes, keeping the 12 metres outdoor pool at 25ºC on December is a big effort, as an unheated pool (like the majority of pools on the island) is not very pleasant. The jacuzzi is not heated. The pool is heated. Yes, we provide a lot of information about the area and the island in advance, not only to have enough time to plan the holiday but also beacause the staff is friendly and helpful that not good in languajes. You are right, kitchens are just holiday home kitchens. Maby the owners could improve them, but as it is very cheap eating on the area, I think they have not consider that, but I will send them your suggestion. Thank you very much again and I am at your disposal for the future.

Banana Oasis

The 3 bed accommodation was lovely, lots of space inside and out. Lovely and clean, lots of little touches that make the difference such as plenty of plates/cutlery/toilet rolls etc. Direct access to pool area was super handy. Note this accommodation doesn't come with a roof terrace, it is all on one floor and you have a front and back terrace so always have choice of shade or sun! Pool was perfect temp (warm), good size and very clean. The only downsides were 1) ceiling fans did help cool things down but the bedrooms were still rather warm at night (but they did have a heat wave on) and 2) location of the Finca overall whilst handy for local shops and restaurants (all good to very nice) is a drive from big supermarkets and beach. This is clear on the map location but worth thinking about as we did miss having an evening wander around town.

Amazing Holiday

We travelled as a family of 5 staying in the 3 bedroom the property is amazing, clean, spacious and had everything we could have possibly needed. There are so many areas to relax in and experience the quiet tranquil and beautifully maintained gardens, pool, reading areas, Jacuzzi. The correspondence with Anna and Nubi was great. Nubi and the staff look after the daily running of the bungalow properties, always smiling and always happy to help. There are a couple of restaurants worth a visit, capricho amazing Italian and latasquita de tono. We didn't hire a car and were happy to use the bus to Los Christianos, 12 Euro for 5 people one way, we got a taxi back 20 Euro, if you enjoy being out a car would be worth considering we will hire one next year... And that brings us to booking again...absolutely, amazing value, we work hard and need to recharge and this property allowed that and more, we will be back next year and fingers crossed will get a cheeky break away from the kids as well as our family one. Highly recommended
