Really stylish, with lots of thoughtful welcome gifts. Beautifully presented with inspiring decor and top quality appliances. Also extremely comfotable beds and bedding.
Already knew Sedburgh so after checking the location knew exactly where it was. If I didn’t, still would of found easily as the directions were easy.
Everything we needed was there. Very clean with lovely decor and you could tell everything was new and hardly looked used.
5 out of 5 from us. My only little mention is I like a big bath especially for soaking my old bones after being on the fells. Apart from that spot on and would definitely recommend and we’ll be back again for sure.
Loved this place! The host does an INCREDIBLE job of making this flat completely gorgeous. From the welcome basket to all the equipment needs in a home away from home (I needed the iron desperately!) to the available snacks... and thank you for putting a bottle of milk in the fridge!! Tea was the thing I wanted the most when I arrived.... The location is ideal for Sedbergh, and I was amazed at how quiet the flat was, given it was on the busy little main street, where delivery trucks are always whizzing by. Couldn't hear a thing! The bed was glorious, a huge king size and super comfortable bedding. And the towels!! OMG other hotels need to learn from those towels. So thick and fluffy and luxurious. If I'd had room in my bursting suitcase I might have nicked one. The bathroom was adorable and the shower was unreal! I want to know where that shower head came from. The only thing I would suggest is put a larger shower glass on the bath, because as you're enjoying the acres of hot water and gushing shower stream, you have to be careful not to spill it all over the bathroom floor in your blissful unawares. So if you want a perfect little place in the heart of Sedbergh from which you can walk to everything, this is it! But I would limit yourselves to two people. There is sleeping room for four, but it might get a little tight. For two, it's perfect. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and wonderfully detailed review! We're absolutely delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. Thank you also for your feedback about the shower screen—we really appreciate suggestions like this and will certainly take a look at how we can improve it for future guests.
It goes without saying but you would be very welcome back at any time!

We are a busy and fun loving family who split our time between living in exciting Lisbon, Portugal and beautiful Winkfield, just outside Windsor in the United Kingdom. We have 2 children aged 16 and 14, who are lots of fun and we enjoy spending time together walking or running through the forest, playing games together and also travelling and eating out. We own a number of businesses and love the daily challenges that being entrepreneurs brings.
Our children are the most obvious element of my life that I couldn't live without. (Closely followed by my husband James, a good coffee in the morning and a glass of nice champagne at any time!).
We love our family and our life and have been fortunate enough to be able to travel frequently together. Every trip brings exciting experiences and an opportunity to make new and lasting friendships.
Please feel free to ask if you have any other questions!
