Dove Court is three cottages set within the farm, with it's own Courtyard. Each cottage is a separate unit, but can be booked together for group/family holidays, with a discount. Bedding towels and heating are included. Swallow Cottage has a wet room with a wheel in shower making it particularly useful for those with mobility problems. Although all cottages are designed to be accessible to everybody, we have ensured that they are also homely rather than "hospitally". Trout fishing available and access to nature reserve.

Very cozy farm stay, relaxed and chill. The place was quiet and spacious, nice break from day time busy schedule. Step into farm house life. Enjoyed our time there.
The hosts were lovely and friendly and gave myself and my daughter a warm welcome. The property is a good base for exploring York/Scarborough/flamingo land all within an hour's drive. The cottage itself is beautiful with exposed wood beams and a beautiful courtyard with water feature and lots of nesting birds, it makes for a lovely place to relax. The cottage was well equipped for self catering and accessable for those with extra needs. My only niggles were the mattresses on the beds weren't very comfortable and the place could do with a deep clean apart from that we enjoyed our stay and loved the vintage board games that were kindly left for guests to enjoy. I would recommend this cottage stay and I would definitely stay here again.
Lovely far stay, Great value and exceeded our expectations, homely, comfortable and spacious. Hosts are lovely and very helpful without being overbearing!Bear in mind it's a working farm, it's rural but lovely and peaceful and in easy reach of Pickering and a number of days out, Eden Camp, Castle Howard, National Bird of prey centre, and Flamingo land all within 20 mins. Whitby and Scarborough are an easy drive awayAlready booked to go back later this year!
Lovely place for a break, very quiet area so easy to relax & wind down. Spacious property with everything you need, all clean & tidy, friendly helpful hosts, we'd happily stay here again and probably will.
Really happy with our stay and how friendly people were, the cottage could have been cleaner as we found little tid bits in places but were happy to place them in the bin. Overall we really enjoyed our stay amd the cottage itself was idylic and peaceful
A quiet farm cottage in wonderful countryside with a
Lovely host couple. They recommended the local pub for a very good evening meal, the Sun in Salton.
Wonderful place with plenty of room for families.
We really enjoyed our stay in Swallow Cottage, we visited areas within the North Yorkshire Moores and came back to the cottage of an evening, the price is very reasonable and given this is on a working farm the owners took time to say hello. We will definitely book again.
Set in a lovely courtyard of renovated buildings the property is comfortable with good space excellent heating WiFi and TV connection. Homely but aging inside, good cooking facilities.
We really enjoyed our stay in our cottage, a converted barn. The location was extremely quiet, the rooms very clean and spacious and the inner courtyard very cozy. The host also came by every now and then for a chat. We will definitely come back
The whole place wasn't as clean as we were expecting e.g. cobwebs in some corners, grease all round the rim of the grill pan and the microwave had definitely not been cleaned since the previous occupants. There was no instruction manual for the cooker so we had to guess how to work the grill, but perhaps someone with a built-in cooker would have known how it worked. (Ours is free-standing.)We had some problems with the TV. A previous occupant had jammed in a DVD which refused to come out. Trying to extricate it was not helped by the fact that the handset wasn't the correct one for the TV. On the plus side our host lent us a stand-alone DVD player so we could watch the DVDs we had brought with us.

I’m sorry you experienced problems with the cooker, it can be frustrating facing different appliances, I will check out where the instructions are.. sometimes YouTube is more helpful. And I will definitely check that the grill and microwave are clean.
I’m glad you found my DVD player solved your problem with the tv.
2 adults and 1 child staying. Great converted barn, all clean with everything you need to for an enjoyable stay.Lovely friendly couple running the place. Interesting to chat to and always helpfulNice and remote, we got to see lots of wildlife around the farm. There's a good pub about 8 mins drive away. Easy to get to the coast. Harder to go in the York direction with A64 summer traffic. Would absolutely stay again. There's a coal fire so maybe in winter next time. (also central heating)
Had an excellent stay in Swallow Cottage, very homely. Lovely courtyard. It feels in the middle of nowhere, but is 10 mins from a decent supermarket. Good value.
Not the place to go if you're looking for glamour, but if you want somewhere simple, quiet, and that has everything you need for a very reasonable price, then this is ideal. This was our second visit, and won't be our last.
Fantastic stay, the cottage is in the most peaceful location with all you could need.
