Beautifully renovated Cunsey Mill House

Cunsey Mill House is the most recent addition to our range of Estate Holiday Cottages and is already one of our favourites. Book in to see why we love it so much!
• Entering from the side of the building you have a beautiful hall which leads either into the spacious living area.

• Large kitchen and utility which also contains the dining area.

• You are also just a couple minutes’ walk to the shores of Lake Windermere.

• Log burning Fire

Communal Swimming pool is not located at the property. It is a short drive away. You can pre-book private sessions prior to arrival.

Just a few minutes’ drive up the road is the fantastic Cuckoo Brow Inn which is one of our recommended spots to grab a bite, morning noon or night. A little further than this is the magical village of Hawkshead with an abundance of little cafés, restaurants, pubs and shops selling locally produced goods.

Christmas Stay

A beautiful cottage located in the most stunning of settings, overlooking Lake Windermere. We stayed for the week over Christmas and it was perfect; log fire, beautiful kitchen and comfortable beds. You can walk along the lakeside from the garden which was heaven for our dog (and us!). We booked to use the pool a few times. This was a hit with our girls. We’d love to come and experience it in the summer so we will be back. Thank you ☺️

A long weekend by Windermere

We hired Cunsey Mill House from the Graythwaite estate and were again very pleased with our stay. The property was well looked after and superbly situated for what we wanted to do in the Lakes. It absorbed the full 6 people for part of the stay. Good team who responded to various requests. Recommended.

Cunsey Mill House

Beautiful cottage in a great location by a mill with direct access to Lake Windermere. The cottage was very cosy and dried us out after a very wet weather few days! The quiet and peaceful surroundings were just what we needed. Lovely walks and rope swings in woods nearby. Plenty of hot water and toiletries with fluffy towels to warm us up afterwards plus a nice welcome basket.
