This newly refurbished property offers guests the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful Lake District. The property is centrally located in Windermere with a handful of great restaurants a stone’s throw away. Lake Windermere is also only a few minutes’ drive or bus ride away, it is also walkable! The apartment is set out over three floors. The ground floor consists of its own private entrance and hallway for coats/boots etc. The first floor is where you`ll find the spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with flat screen tv. There is also a WC on this level. Up the final flight of stairs to the second floor is where you will find 2, large, en-suite bedrooms. Please note there is no lift in this property and therefore the 1st and 2nd floors are only accessible via stairs.
Two well-trained dogs are welcome at this property for an additional charge. Dogs visiting the property should be kept off all furniture, downstairs and never left unattended. We were 2 couples staying for 2 nights.
Prior to arrival the communication was excellent ensuring we had all the information we needed. Any query was responded to speedily and comprehensively.
Check in on the first night was a simple process as we had prior notification of exactly what to do.
The only smallest issue was that parking was notified on the listing, which lead me to think it had its own private space. It doesn’t although there is plenty of free of charge parking close by and you would have to be pretty unlucky to not get one. My only gripe!!
The house is really nice, well decorated and equipped with everything we needed.
The beds were really comfortable and both bedrooms have a very nice en suite.
It is right on edge of Windermere town and a pleasant 20 minute walk to Bowness.
We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
