We adored another year in Vessacks. Immaculate house with cracking views. Perfectly located for clifftop exploring, and some really interesting local literature in the house. Everything is super clear in the welcome booklet and Katherine is the most attentive and professional host, a real pleasure to communicate with! The kitchen is brilliantly stocked too, and the beds are genuinely the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I've never stayed in a better run or more beautiful holiday house. We love it!
I can’t imagine a more calming and beautiful place to stay on the Cornish cliffs, watching the endless horizon, the ships at sea, whitecaps or not, being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves on the beach below. Apart from the stunning views, Vessacks is incredibly comfortable, with plenty of room for small and large gatherings, and has everything needed to cook a great dinner for friends and family. I come every year and find consistently high quality in the household equipment, comfy beds and bedding, and many improvements (large and small) from last time. This year, Katherine is in the process of adding a beautiful patio. The magic of this place draws me back and especially in the spring when the cliffs are bursting with wildflowers, cuckoos are calling and the roads are easier to navigate than in the summer. Thank you Katherine - we plan to be back next year.
Vessacks is a lovely property in a stunning location and our week there went far too quickly. The house is very spacious and much of the space takes full advantage of the incredible sea views at the rear of the property. The property is very clean and felt very homely. We also appreciated the excellent communication by the host.

Beautiful and spacious house with spectacular views
We had an amazing stay here. The property feels very spacious even though there were 8 of us, and the views are just stunning. The kitchen is well equipped so cooking dinner each night was a breeze. Several beautiful beaches 5-10 mins walk away. Great communication with Katherine. Highly recommend!

Vessacks is a unique and special house on the cliff overlooking both ocean and farms across the valley. We loved the comfy beds, modern bathrooms, well set-up kitchen, and dining area, with multiple places to gather, or to be alone, all with amazing views. We loved to watch gulls wheeling below, ships at sea or lighthouses winking in the dark. We can’t wait to come back.

Thank you for such a lovely review Edward. We're so glad you had such a memorable stay -- you'll always be welcome. Very best wishes
Great accommodation ticking all the right boxes required to make your stay enjoyable, good beds, bed linen, seating, bathroom facilities and kitchen. The views from the lounges looking out to sea are outstanding. The location is also great if you like costal walks with plenty of paths either to the left or right. We would recommend this property to our friends and family and look forward to another visit in the near future.

Thank you. It means a lot that you enjoyed the house and your stay. I hope you return.
We usually stay nearby and were let down by the property owner. Fortunately, this was avaiable and exceeded our expectations. The sun room provided excellent viewing across the ocean and of the bright lunar sky at night. The sound of the ocean at night is very soothing to fall asleep to.The well-equipped kitchen was able to fully accomodate our needs and we were able to use most of our streaming services with the installed tv sets.We were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave.

House is spacious, comfortable and in an unbeatable location. Had 2 weeks of sheer bliss - lots of walks along the coast and down to the beaches with plenty of swimming, pasties, cream teas and ice cream on the way. Also visited the PK Telegraph museum which was an unexpected treasure.

Thank you Michael for your review and noting your visit to the Telegraph Museum.
Also thank you for the photographs of things that were broken. This really helped. The person who managed the major internal works in 2018, said he visited on the day you left and has fixed them, an unexpected and generous gift of his time.
Vessacks has a wonderful, special atmosphere which immediately conveys a sense of tranquility and beauty. Everything was as it should be and of course the views are sublime.
Communication with Katherine and the house team is excellent.

About the host
Hosted by Katherine
It’s four decades since Ann Grace fell in love with Vessacks. The Grace family were already regular visitors to Cornwall, but Vessacks’s stunning sea views were special. Since then, it’s become a much-loved holiday home for three generations of family, as well as for countless guests – friends, families and couples who have returned time and again to enjoy its spectacular views, relax on the nearby beaches and walk the Cornish coastal paths.
Why they chose this property
Vessacks has some of the very best views in Cornwall. It is directly on the South West Coastal Path with panoramas over the sea from almost every room. At night you can see galaxies, stars, comets, satellites, planets and the moon, as well as passing ships and fishing boats, nocturnal wildlife.
What makes this property unique
Guests repeatedly write about the stunning location, abundant wildlife and many nearby beaches. Vessacks remains a convening point for members of the Grace family and is still family-run. Many of our guests visit year after year; some have been coming since the 1980s.
