About this property
Honey stone and style year round
Step out of the front door and wander the picture perfect streets of Winchcombe, take in lunch, supper or tea, maybe explore the museum before returning to relax in the stylish, deceptively large, but cosy house.
Easter House is an attractive, traditional stone property ideally located on one of the most quintessential Cotswold streets in the lovely market town of Winchcombe. This five bedroom property is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries.
The entrance and front door to the property opens out on to the main road. On entering there is a ground floor twin bedroom on the left hand side of the staircase that leads to the first floor which has 4 bedrooms. Three of them are king size bedrooms all with their own en-suite shower rooms. The other bedroom is a twin room next to the family bathroom. They are all of similar size.
Also on the ground floor there is a large kitchen with all the normal utilities including a Range Cooker, Dish Washer and a Washer/Dryer.
The living room has 3 leather sofas, TV, coffee table and a couple of side tables. There is a large dining table to seat 10 people with a cloakroom with a shower, basin and toilet to the side. From the lounge there are double doors leading to the patio and a good sized back garden on two levels, fully enclosed and with garden furniture to enable you to dine alfresco or just sit and relax.
The picturesque market town of Winchcombe, a bustling town home to excellent amenities including numerous country inns and restaurants including the Michelin starred 5 North Street, The Lion, The White Hart, and Wesley House. There are also cafes and boutique shops. For your shopping essentials, there is a Mid-Counties Co-op in Winchcombe and a Tesco Superstore in Cheltenham. Visitors can browse the unique selection of local stores along the town's three main streets, which still have plenty of charm thanks to their honey-coloured stone and timbered exterior or try a tantalising assortment of regional fare in the town's restaurants, wine bars, tea shops, and delis. Farmers' markets, country events, and music and arts festivals are also held in the town.
Stroll to Sudeley Castle to soak up the history and art or walk on Cleeve Hill to be stunned by its incredible views. Possibly a day at Cheltenham Racecourse might be more you or a visit to Gloucester Warwickshire Steam Railway or the Bugatti Trust? The Winchcombe area offers it all.
