Rental too far from center of town. Need a vehicle to get to town, or a very long walk.The frig leaked water on the kitchen floor. The fire/smoke alarms went off a couple of times during stay, but the last evening they went off three times, the last time at 12:45 A. M. Very annoying.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that parts of your stay were not as expected. To clarify for future guests, the property is located about a 15–20 minute gentle walk into the centre of town, depending on your walking pace. Many guests enjoy the peaceful setting and the chance to walk into town, though we understand this may not suit everyone. With regard to the smoke alarms, I was only made aware of an issue late on the final night of your stay. I offered to come over immediately to help, but this was declined. As a precaution, all smoke and heat alarms were replaced immediately after your departure to ensure everything remains fully operational and up to date. Unfortunately, the fridge leak was not reported during your stay, or we would have addressed it right away. All seems to be in working We always encourage our guests to let us know of any concerns during their stay so we can respond quickly and ensure a more comfortable experience. We appreciate your comments and are continually working to improve.
