Really great value for money, clean and well designed.
Really great value for money, clean and well designed. Near a reasonably busy road but that provides convenience and easy access to many other areas - didn't disturb. Would happily stay there again. Lots of shops, pubs and villages within a short drive.

A little hidden gem, great location for access to some wonderful places, like Whitby and Saltburn.
A little hidden gem, great location for access to some wonderful places, like Whitby and Saltburn. A great pub and local shop just up the main road, nice modern conversion but with a really warm and snug feel. Plenty to do in the area and very friendly owners.

Lovely cottage, quiet close to main road but traffic noise not a problem once inside.
Lovely cottage, quiet close to main road but traffic noise not a problem once inside. Great been able to walk the dogs straight from the front door in owners little wood and field. Comfortable and warm. New this year and maybe a a bit of fine tuning still required but nothing major - no welcome pack/pint of milk but garage at Scaling Dam with well stocked shop, curtains/blinds at downstairs windows would be nice for privacy, there was no frying pan (had 2 woks!). Ate out - at the Jack & Jill Pub, Scaling Dam couple of mins away and excellent food at the Waterwheel, Liverton, 5 mins away, Wetherspoons for cheapness in Guisboro'. Good location for visiting local area. Some Tourist Info leaflets would also be useful for those who are not familiar with the area. Had a lovely weekend break and would return again.
