Thanks to its strategic location, this space offers easy access to all local attractions. Located in a historic building on the other side of the Arno, just a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio, we are on the second floor, with no lift (there are 36 steps to climb). The house has just been renovated, preserving its Florentine charm—such as the terracotta flooring and exposed beams—along with the antique furniture. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. The house features a bedroom with a double bed, a living room overlooking Via Borgo San Jacopo with a relaxation area (fibre internet, smart TV), and a dining table. From the living room, a wooden spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine, where there are two single beds. The kitchenette is very compact but has everything you need to enjoy your stay: an induction cooktop (along with pots and pans), a Nespresso coffee machine, an electric kettle, a refrigerator with a freezer, cutlery, glasses for water and wine, cups, and coffee mugs. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, and sink, as well as a cabinet containing a hair dryer and a first-aid kit (please note that the bathroom door is 170 cm high by 50 cm wide—it’s small). Adjacent to the double bedroom is a small room containing a washing machine. The home’s air conditioning system provides heating in the winter and cooling in the summer.

Gabriel was our only true host that we met on our trip. He greeted us at door and got us in and walked us through the place. Great location to everything. A little noisy at night from the steers but I think all of Florence in this area is kind it a d it was not super bad.
The location is wonderful. It is close to the Ponte Vecchio and Ponte della Trinità. It is clean and very well furnished. I love the coffee maker! It is also close to Holy Spirit Piazza which has wonderful places to eat and the best gelato shop around the corner. Gabriel is an excellent host. He is quick to reply to questions and needs.
Vineyard is not applicable.Excellent location. Apartment suitable for shorter stays. The only negative is the volume of noise at night from street traffic, if you are not used to living in a town. The Host was extremely helpful and efficient with his communications.
Overall, this was a great apartment! Here is our "honest" review. The owner does a great job communicating with us before, during, and after our visit. He provided great materials before we arrived to help us get into the apartment and more. He happened to be in the area so he met us at the apartment. The place is right in the middle of the busy downtown district. So the location is wonderful. Florence is a walking town and everything is close. Plenty of restaurants near and a grocery store about 4 minutes away. The train station is a 12 minute walk. It was easy to get everywhere from this apartment. There is a room with a queen and a loft with two twins which was perfect for my family of 4 (2 parents and 2 teenagers). Since we are in the middle of the tourist area, it was loud at night. We use "sound machines" to drown out the noise. As is normal in European apartments, the kitchen and bathroom were quite small but sufficient. It was also nice to have a washing machine. (If you are tall, keep in mind that the ceiling in the bathroom is pretty low.) The apartment is on the second floor and there is not an elevator. The amenities (towels, shampoo, etc.) were all good. Just note that if you book through VRBO that you will be asked to pay a city tax directly to the owner immediately before using the apartment. This is normal in Italy.Overall, a great host and apartment. We would stay here again if we ever visit Florence again.
