A beautiful house in which to celebrate a special occasion; self-cater in Eskdale, Western Lake District.

Our large and welcoming house lends itself brilliantly to gatherings of friends and family for special occasions, celebrations or outdoor activities.

Stanley House can be booked exclusively for large celebrations, or smaller groups can book part of the accommodation on a flexible basis

There are 12 en suite bedrooms in total, 6 rooms can be twin or double rooms, 2 small double or large single rooms and 2 family suites, each comprising of 2 double bedrooms with one large family bathroom.

Well behaved dogs are also welcome.

Stanley House has extensive gardens to the rear of the house looking out to the fells and leading down to the River Esk.

We absolutely loved staying here, we hired the whole house for 26 family members, the gardens were lovely, we paddled in the River Esk at the bottom of the garden. The kitchen was huge, plenty of space for all. All the bedrooms were spacious with their own bathrooms. Pubs, steam train and walks all within the area without driving anywhere.Would definitely return.
