First time in Florence

Had a wonderful stay in Santa Croce suite. Fashionably decorated. Remarkable view of the cathedral and piazza. Had the pleasant surprise of seeing the Calico Storico right out of our window. It was amazing to see the crowd get so excited for it. The location is just far enough from the crowd of tourists but walking distance from all the key sights. Definitely recommend.

The apartment could have been cleaner. The carpet is dirty. I kept finding clumps of long black hair. On the carpet, in the bathroom. The lights need to be checked out. A few burnt bulbs or lamps that just didn't work. A hole in the ceiling of the kitchen. A hole in the wall of the shower. The walls of the hallway and stairs are filthy and need to be repainted badly. A third floor walk up. Great location. Not worth the high price of the apartment.
