I wanted a property for my wife and I plus room for one other couple that we were travelling with. We wanted a spot within walking distance of the town center and we wanted something that was a little more upscale than the average house. My wife and I also really enjoy exploring and experiencing the older buildings and history when we travel. When I found this property, I was actually suspicious that it was as beautiful and perfectly situated as it was shown in the listing. I went ahead and booked anyway because it looked so good. I will tell you that when we arrived, we were blown away. This property is so nice and so convenient and met all of our wished and then some. The owners have taken an English Listed Building and have renovated the inside beautifully. The touches they put in where more "modern", but they left a lot of features and things that still gave a nod to the history of the place and how it might have been used throughout the centuries. The amenities were really nice to have (porch area, parking, gated, washer/dryer, kitchen was well stocked with dishes/etc., and similar). Everything was very clean and ready for us. Also, working with the owners was very pleasant. They communicated well and quickly and they worked with me without hesitation when I had to make a date adjustment due to changes to my travel plans. If I ever come back to this area again, I will seek this property out for certain. Thank you!!
