Westhills Cottage

Perfect for two, Westhills Cottage offers a peaceful countryside escape in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. All on one level and easily accessed from the quiet courtyard, this light and airy retreat gives beautiful views of the surrounding hills as well as having access to a private outdoor Japanese Whirlpool bath.



The open-plan living space is designed for relaxation, with a large comfortable sofas. On cooler evenings, the log-burning stove – with logs and kindling provided. The modern fitted kitchen comes fully equipped with quality appliances, cookware, and all the essentials for a home-from-home stay. The dining area, with its generous wooden table and four chairs. In the bedroom there is a king-size bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom boasting a double hand basin, heated towel rail, and a large shower for two.



Outside, a private garden with patio and lawn offers a front-row seat to the Peak District's beauty. Dine al fresco, sip wine at sunset, or indulge in the star attraction – a handcrafted cedarwood Japanese whirlpool bath. With clean, fresh water every time, pour yourself a drink as you watch it fill.



Situated in the heart of the Peak District, the nearby towns of Matlock, Bakewell, and Buxton each offer their own charm. Matlock, with its riverside setting and Victorian architecture, is perfect for leisurely walks, independent shops, and nearby attractions like the Heights of Abraham. Bakewell, famous for its delicious pudding, boasts quaint stone buildings, a bustling market, and access to scenic walking and cycling trails along the Monsal Trail. Buxton, a historic spa town, impresses with its grand Georgian and Victorian architecture, the stunning Pavilion Gardens, and its renowned natural thermal spring – all surrounded by spectacular limestone scenery.
