This place was beautiful and is great for large groups. The hot tub was amazing, the living room fit tons of people, and the house is close to downtown Black Mountain.

Hey Jim,
Thank you for staying at Mountain Cove! You mentioned the hot tub and we are so glad that you experienced it. Again, thank you and we hope that you book with us at another time!
Everything was pretty good, the main negative was beyond their control with a power outage that stopped us from watching the Olympics. It was not their fault but it did cause our stay to be less than perfect.

Hey Benjamin,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear most of your stay at Mountain Cove was enjoyable. We understand the power outage was unfortunate. We hope you had a great time despite the setback.
This is an amazing property. The house was spotless, there was enough space for multiple families and one of the most serene properties I have stayed at. Additionally you are a short, 5 minute drive from downtown. This is a special place and definitely plan to come back.

Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed this spacious and well equipped home, The lush privacy of the surroundings, the huge screened in porch, the linens provided and the convenience to Black Mountain and Montreat were just some of the special features. We would recommend this house to anyone.
The house was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay. The septic pump failed and alarmed. The management company did respond quickly and remedied the situation the same day. There was evidence of some minor repairs in process in the basement on arrival (paint tarp, wall spackling). I tidied it up for our stay. Overall, very nice house.
We had an amazing stay at the Asheville Classic Modern Cabin with our friends! The cabin was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, the hot tub on the back deck, and the fully equipped kitchen. The cabin was also in a great location, just a short drive from downtown Asheville and nestled in the woods. We enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails and visiting the local breweries.
Suggestions for improvement:
The Wi-Fi signal was a bit spotty in some areas of the cabin.
The driveway leading up to the cabin was a bit steep and narrow, so it would be helpful to have a four-wheel drive vehicle in the winter.
The door sitting area needs cleaning and the grill is spotty.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the Asheville Classic Modern Cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable mountain getaway.
My friends and I had a great time for my bachelorette party. The home was spacious and had plenty of room for all of us. It was very well decorated and had plenty of sitting/sleeping space for everyone.
There were a few issues we stumbled upon during our trip, however. There were spiders and webs in a few places in the house. To be expected while you’re staying in the mountains but one of the rooms had so many that none of the girls wanted to sleep in there. Even with that, there was enough space for all in the other rooms to sleep on the beds. The hot tub wasn’t cleaned to our liking and the fire pit out back didn’t work which was a bummer. There weren’t enough trash bags and paper towels for a house that large which we were surprised by. There is also very few mirrors in the home which was difficult for a group of girls if you can imagine.
Overall, we enjoyed the property and would recommend it for a large group but definitely some things that need to be fixed to make it a 5/5 experience!
Our extended family of 14 arrived at the Mountain Cove house on a Saturday afternoon for an eight night stay. Unfortunately there were many functional issues with the house which apparently were due to prior electrical problems in the neighborhood and beyone the control of Carolina Mornings. There were many burned out lights, the hot tub, fire pit, Internet/WiFi and TV were not working and hot water wasn't available in some places. I texted our issues to management, as instructed, and was told a couple of maintenance technicians would come to help us. When they arrived, Jon and his father went to work on the breaker box and changing light bulbs. They got the hot water to work and lights changed but were unable to address the other issues. We were gone from the house most of Sunday and nothing happened. Monday morning a new maintenance person (another Jon) arrived and was able to fix the fire pit and hot tub issues which made the grandkids very happy! At that point we were advised they couldn't fix the TV/WiFi/Internet issues; they scheduled a technician from the service provider to come on Wednesday morning. By mid-morning on Wednesday all services were finally working which was a relief to those who needed to be checking in at their work places. During this five day process, everyone involved was pleasant, competent and helpful. With everything working, this house was lovely, functional and suited our needs very well. The screened porch was a favorite place to hang out and talk.
We all had a great vacation and enjoyed touring Black Mountain and Asheville, hiking, White Water Rafting, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and one long and happy day at the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We hope to return to North Carolina soon!
Great accommodations for families looking to get away. House and location were excellent - loved the Black Mountain area and close to additional amenities and activities in Asheville. Hiking and trail running accessible directly from property- loved the local neighborhood! Plenty of space and beds/baths for families or multiple families. Hot tub, screened in porch, and fire pit were great bonuses!
Overall a great week!! Cabin was so nice and we did so many awesome things in Ashville! Downtown Black Mountain was also very cute with some neat shops.
We celebrated Thanksgiving and our 50th wedding anniversary with our family of 10 and one uninvited bear. The property was nicely appointed with plenty of room for our large extended family. The kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms and bathrooms were the best part of the house. We greatly enjoyed the screened in porch, fire pit and hot tub.
This is a lovely property and perfect for adults and children. There are many comfortable bedrooms and a bunk room for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked and the great room is a very comfortable gathering place! We loved the little town of Black Mountain and want to come again next year!
This is an incredible cabin with everything you need. The fire pit wasn’t working during our stay which was a bit disappointing but other than that everything was amazing.
The property was fabulous, the numerous and spacious rooms, bedrooms and layout was perfect for a decent size group (14 for us). It provided the perfect space to hang out both inside, outside, or find a hidden nook to read, relax or hang out away from the group areas. Easy and very close to downtown Asheville, about 25 min ride in, easy to get Lyft, or Cab back out to house. The beds, Wifi, TV and other ammenities were all up to date and well kept.
The overall process of securing, arriving, departing and follow up has been a breeze as well. We look forward to visiting again.
Pictures don't do this house justice! It has a great feel and layout to accommodate large groups. A lot of thought has been put into this property. It is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook big meals while staying there. We had seven couples there celebrating a 40th birthday, and everyone had comfortable accommodations. Black Mountain is a precious town and we really enjoyed Pisgah Brewing. We used the house as a base for some great hiking at Catawba Falls and Mt. Mitchell. The fire pit and hot tub were a great way to end the day. The sunset views from that upper patio are not to be missed!
