Ideally based for our visits to Bamburgh, Holy Island and Alnwick. The nearby Embleton bay beach was within easy reach and is stunning as is Bamburgh beach. Suited our needs and great that dogs are allowed.

Very peaceful location, more attention needed to cleaning of the accommodation and the mattress on the double bed needs to replacing as the bed is very uncomfortable.

Had a lovely mini break at Paddy‘s Mount cottage with my friend and our two dogs. Cottage was ideal – spacious but homely, tiled floors-very dog suitable, central to wherever we wanted to go and peaceful. We hit lucky with the weather and walked for miles but we’re glad to get back to chill and relax in the evening. Would certainly think of returning and would recommend the cottage.

A great living space- open plan and spacious, pet friendly floors and secure garden. Often in rental cottages there are a few items in the kitchen- salt and pepper, oil, washing up liquid, but here it is cleaned out, just to be warned. A new bed or mattress needed for the main bedroom, it was very uncomfortable and would deter me for a weeks stay.

property was very well equipped for our stay, in great location very peaceful even the bull and cows next door were on their best behaviour !property was very spacious was pleasantly surprised as pictures gave the impression it was going to be much smaller.great location for visiting the Northumberland coast and country side, we visited the Rocking Horse cafe a few times food and coffee were excellent and the friendly resident dogs and staff, another place not to be missed is The Tree House in AlnwickAlex the host responded to my enquiries promptly and access to property was by key safe so we did not actually meet
