Monkey Puzzle Retreat is in a convenient location to explore the coastal area, being a few minutes drive to the Heritage Coast and major attractions in the area such as Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Seahouses. Shop: 100 meters Pub: 150 meters.

The historic towns of Berwick and Alnwick are 14 miles north and south respectively, whilst the Cheviots, which provide excellent walking, and the Border region with its many stately homes and abbeys can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Excellent golf, horse riding and fishing available locally.
