About this property
Dove, dog friendly accommodation with hot tub, Brecon, Wales
Set in the breathtaking beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this luxurious glamping retreat offers you a chance to disconnect from the bustle of everyday life and reconnect with loved ones and with nature. With a private wood-fired hot tub, Dove is the perfect hideaway for a peaceful and romantic break, without compromising on home comforts.
From your own private wood-fired hot tub and the beds dressed for your arrival with quality Egyptian cotton, to your own “Pitch Pod” with shower, eco toiletries, wash basin and flushing WC, Dove is a true-home-from-home.
There’s plenty to do without straying too far, from wild swimming in the nearby lake to exploring the myriad of trails easily accessible from your hideaway. If all that sounds like too much effort, the wide and welcoming veranda is the perfect place to sit and relax, perhaps with that book you’ve been meaning to finish. The breeze gently stirring the trees and the distant cry of buzzards as they ride the thermals are the only things to disturb this tranquil setting – bliss! Your own hot-tub is the perfect way to soothe any aching muscles you may have developed and as night falls it’s also a great place from where to indulge in a spot of star-gazing – crack open a bottle of bubbles, lie back and watch for shooting stars – don’t forget to make a wish!
Inside, the cosy seating area with its comfortable sofa and wood burning stove is a great place to unwind and the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a feast using some of the fabulous local produce that’s readily available. Alternatively, the firepit is not only the ideal way to brush up on your barbecuing skills, but it’s also a perfect place to snuggle up in a gorgeous traditional Welsh blanket, toast marshmallows and while away the evening catching up on the day. When sleep finally calls, the comfortable bedrooms, with proper beds and Egyptian cotton linen, will ensure your dreams will be sweet and undisturbed.
For larger groups, Buzzard and Goshawk can also be booked.
