Set within the wide-open landscapes of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Clay Hall Farm House enjoys a wonderfully rural position, surrounded by some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful countryside and coastline.. 6 steps to entrance.

Separate Toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Back garden with barbecue and chiminea. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Just half a mile away, you’ll find a welcoming, family-friendly pub serving hearty meals, along with a petrol station for essential groceries. Right beside Scaling Dam itself is a sailing and water sports centre, where you can try wind sailing, hire a paddleboard, or, for the adventurous, experience wild swimming surrounded by sweeping moorland views.
Clay Hall Farm itself is a small, peaceful farm made up of three beautifully converted barns, now holiday lets, along with the main farmhouse – this lovingly renovated bungalow. A private road leads you off the main road and down to the farm, with ample off-road parking along the driveway for the whole family.
Six stone steps take you up to the farmhouse and through the garden gate, where you’re greeted by an exceptionally large, enclosed lawned garden. This outdoor space is ideal for families and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs, enjoy a morning run, or simply roll in the fresh grass. Inside, the farmhouse is spacious, light, and entirely laid out on the ground floor. The large open-plan living area features a pair of comfortable sofas gathered around a cosy wood-burning stove, creating a warm and inviting space to relax after a day exploring. A large dining table provides plenty of room for everyone to gather, while the generous kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances. Double glass doors open directly onto the garden, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living.There are three comfortable bedrooms – two doubles and one king-size – along with a family bathroom featuring both a bath and a separate shower, plus an additional WC for convenience.
The surrounding moors are an area of exceptional natural beauty, criss-crossed with scenic walking and cycling routes that take in heather-clad hills, quiet valleys, and far-reaching views. It’s a paradise for walkers, dog owners, photographers, and anyone seeking fresh air and open space.
The coast lies just six miles away, opening up a string of charming seaside villages and bays waiting to be explored.
