Once the buttery and servants’ quarters of The Grove, a Grade II listed farmhouse with Tudor origins, now a welcoming two-bedroom retreat, ideal for families, friends or couples. With its own private entrance, guests can enjoy a real sense of privacy throughout their stay. Inside, the open-plan living and dining room features original flooring and a charming fireplace, with an open fire perfect for cosy evenings and a TV for relaxed nights in. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for dining at home and still retains its original glazed butler’s cupboard. Upstairs, reached via traditional steep cottage stairs, having handrails on each side, are two inviting bedrooms: one with exposed beams and a double bed, and the other offering a double and additional single bed, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements. A modern bathroom with both bath and separate shower completes the first floor. Set in the peaceful village of Booton, the cottage offers a tranquil rural escape with excellent walking and cycling routes right from the doorstep. Just a short drive away is the historic market town of Reepham, while the grand estates of Blickling and Mannington make for memorable days out. Norwich is only 30 minutes away, and the stunning Norfolk coastline—with sandy beaches, nature reserves, and traditional seaside towns filled with attractions, all within easy reach. Guests are further invited to explore the grounds of The Grove, having your own private west-facing garden reserved for relaxing, alfresco dining and enjoying the evening sun. A tennis court is also available by prior arrangement, and there is ample parking. The Buttery is perfectly placed for exploring both the Norfolk Broads and coast, or simply unwinding in a beautiful historic setting.
