About this property

2 Bed in Wroxham (oc-r44760)

Rest and relax at this lovely lodge in the riverside village of Wroxham, perfect for families and friends seeking a restful base for outdoor adventures in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The Broads are a haven for boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, wildlife watching, walking and cycling. Wroxham sits along the River Bure and is a lively hub for visitors, with boat hire, river trips, shops, and eateries all within a mile of the property. BeWILDerwood (5 miles) is a must-visit for an unforgettable family day out. Alternatively, explore the historic city of Norwich and discover the cathedral and castle or relax on a scenic steam journey through the Broads countryside on the Bure Valley Railway, both within 10 miles. The breathtaking Norfolk coastline is less than 15 miles away, where you can enjoy the sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Happisburgh and visit the sea colonies at Horsey Gap.

Step inside this welcoming property, set over a single level, and you’ll find yourself in the central hallway, which provides access to all the main living and sleeping areas. The calming hues, bright space full of natural light, and the comfortable contemporary decor and furnishings create a homely ambience for a memorable stay. Immediately to your right along the hallway is a separate chic kitchen that’s well-equipped for cooking during your stay. The first door on the left brings you to the heart of the home, an inviting open-plan lounge/dining area, where you can relax after a day of adventure exploring the Broads. Large windows and a triple aspect flood the room with natural light and make the most of the views of the river and the surrounding landscape. Sink into the comfortable seating and enjoy chatting about the day’s adventures or watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. From the lounge, patio doors open directly onto the decked terrace, ideal for a cool summer breeze. Continue down the hallway to reach two attractive bedrooms, with elegant decor and ample storage, where you can drift off to sleep. The first bedroom is a king en-suite with a shower room and river views from two sides, and the second bedroom is a restful twin. Completing the lodge's interior is a sleek family bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC.

Outside is a decking area accessed from the lounge, providing plenty of seating, so you can unwind with an afternoon or evening drink and admire the views. There is also a large garden with a low-level fence. Private parking is available for two cars on shared driveway
