Woodstock Mountain Cottage has incredible views and is 5.9 miles from the center of Woodstock. The house with the View was called because of its vantage point opening to an expanded breathtaking vista of the Valleys and mountains of the Catskill. Newly added luxury outdoor Spa Hot Tub! No better place to relax than under the open skies. On a quiet road that some consider Woodstock's kept secret, the house is a gem waiting to be discovered. It was abandoned for over 20 years, then remodeled completely, maintaining some of its charming wooden beams dating 200 years old.
This house is a combination of the old and the new. Locals love the location!
Strong Wifi brings civilization to you with a smart TV and free Netflix. ( no cable TV)
Stainless steel appliances. One Queen-size bed and two sofa beds to accommodate two guests and a loft that can accommodate a child. Upper and lower decks with incredible views! Cappuccino machine, washer and dryer, Jacuzzi Bath Tub, and rainwater shower head.
Please Note: The Space has a loft Open Floor Plan. The bedroom and Upper-level room is an open Floors (not closed rooms). The stairs Den/Sleeping area overlooks the main space, but the bottom Open Bedroom is not visible from the top room.

The Cooper home was called "The House with the View" for 200 years, inspiring generations of artists to set their canvases across from it and be inspired by the magnificent open landscape of the Catskill mountains, which stretched as far as the eye can see. We have plenty of parking around the house, and you also have two bicycles with helmets and walk on Sickler, one of the most magical roads in the Catskills.
The Woodstock general area, including this location, does not have consistent cell phone service. However, we do have strong Wifi and Wifi calling from the house.
Or use this as a perfect place to unplug!
