This charming 1920’s bungalow is located in a quiet historic neighborhood. Just steps from a small park with petanque courts and places for the kids to play while you relax on the park benches surrounded by mature oak trees. It has two spacious bedrooms each with blinds and blackout curtains for those lazy mornings of sleeping in. For the chef minded the kitchen is a full functioning kitchen with a dishwasher. Two sparkling clean bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a clawfoot tub perfect for soaking after a day of sight seeing! A sun porch for sitting with your morning coffee to plan your day or unwind with a glass of wine and the end of the evening. Within walking distance to historic and vibrant downtown Petaluma, boasting with many restaurants, food trucks, nightclubs and theater square. Forty five miles from San Francisco and the beautiful Napa Sonoma wine country and a half hour from Bodega Bay. Our hostess is on site for any questions or help.

This house has everything you need for a great stay. The beds were very comfortable, the decor is very tasteful and the kitchen is fully equipped. One guest said this was the cleanest place she had been. We enjoyed all the extra little touches, i.e. the bathroom had many extras, Kleenex, Q-Tip's, nice shampoos, and soaps. Thanks for a great stay, we hope to be back one day.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The beds were comfortable and cozy with two different styles of pillows to choose from and soft sheets. The bath towels were nice to use as they were very absorbent. The bathroom was stocked with items you may have forgotten to bring. The kitchen was very well stocked, down to a mix of chocolate chip cookies and a few condiments in the fridge. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk to a commercial area with places to eat was enjoyable. The host was in contact with us via the app, but we didn’t need a thing. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

We had a great stay here the home was super clean, cozy beds, and just minutes from downtown Petaluma. Perfect spot for relaxing weekend in-between wedding festivities nearby.

Great place! It was clean. It was stocked with a lot of things that are nice to have but not every VRBO has. Walking distance to downtown Petaluma. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely spot to stay in Petaluma. We like being able to walk to downtown restaurants and bakeries. Walking through the historic homes is also a lot of fun. Overall, a great place to stay for a few days.

Perfect Petaluma Retreat!

We had a wonderful time! Pleasant Street felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, the accommodations were very family friendly, and the place was perfectly clean. Hope we can stay again on our next visit to Petaluma!

oh wow ... I almost hesitate to tell the whole truth about how wonderful this place is -- I have already decided I will want to make another visit there, and if I rave too enthusiastically, what if it becomes so popular I can't ever book a stay?! First things first: the bungalow itself is adorable, and it is equipped with every possible convenience. The bed I slept in is incredibly comfortable -- wish my bed at home were that comfy. VERY spacious and well-appointed place, furnished with excellent taste. The neighborhood is peaceful, and because I was there to do some writing, I especially appreciated how quiet it was. (Also: easy walking distance to various amenities!) The little wicker seating arrangement on the front porch charmed my socks off, and I really could hardly tear myself away when it was time to leave this morning. I just wanted to stare across at the lovely crepe myrtle blooming within my view and enjoy being there! And the host is wonderfully responsive. HIGHLY recommend.

Quiet Petaluma Home

This is a great location to stay in Petaluma. Close enough to downtown that walking to dinner is possible. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area. This was our fifth stay here.
