This was the cutest VRBO! it’s proximity to the promenade was perfect for our family. The kids were able to run around in the park. The unit itself was so cute! The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. All the details in the unit were adorable. Loved it! Would definitely recommend! We hope to return!

The location is superb near the Eastern Promenade. The beds were good, the parking was easy, it was quiet, and the front rooms were attractive. I did appreciate the host's responsiveness in bringing us additional hangers beyond the few supplied.But I was very disappointed in the condition of the rest of the apartment. I understand it is a historic property and probably difficult to maintain, so I did not expect perfection. But when offering a rental at high season prices I expected the condition to be in line with the price. Instead, I felt the property in general and the back two rooms in particular were very unkempt. The dishwasher did not work at all, as the dishes came out as dirty as when they went in. The back porch, where we were to gather the garbage, has rotted floor boards, which could be a hazard. There are simple things to upgrade that would make the experience much more pleasant: painting the doors and woodwork which were peeling badly, weeding the front walk, using more ant control, supplying a narrow dresser with drawers/shelves for the back bedroom. And perhaps more hooks to be able to hang clothes in the rooms. I hope the host can improve the condition and thus the experience for future travelers.

This was an ideal rental. We loved the location- quiet neighborhood, very easy walk to the Eastern Promenade, and close to great food. It is spacious, nicely updated and decorated, and the beds were very confortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is near the beautiful Eastern Promenade and a short walk to restaurants and shops and the historic downtown Portland area. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the area so much!

We found this beautifully decorated home absolutely spotless! The furnishings were comfortable & homey. The beds were super comfy! It was very easy to walk to many restaurants & tours from the apartment and parking was plentiful. You won’t be disappointed… we highly recommend

Plus, I love being able to walk to brunch and to the market! I desperately missed those outings, living in the car-centered culture of Los Angeles. It's been a wonderful experience meeting and hosting people from all over the world who are visiting Portland!
