The house was on one level which was perfect for seniors. The road was a typical mountain road and was very well maintained. The view from the front porch was spectacular. We loved our stay at The Perch.

Our stay in the home was great. No real complaints.
I would recommend that the landscaping be addressed for aesthetic purposes. And, if at all possible, include garbage disposal.
We would visit again.

The Perch has the perfect porch for enjoying the NC mountains in summer. Included is a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. On either side of the porch are butterfly bushes that provided a constant flutter of swallowtails. We really hope to come back next year.

We rented the house based on the views (which were fantastic), and were equally impressed by the well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and overall experience. We had one small window of time where we lost the internet signal, but both the rental agency and the tech support from the provider were incredibly responsive and had the issue fixed within minutes. I think we ate all of our meals on the front porch with such an expansive view. We had a great time and will definitely rent the property again.

Great views but obstructed by overgrown vegetation. Nice size for family gatherings. Overall well maintained but few small things need fixing for e.g. broken screen doors.
Thank you for sharing your home with us.
