This is a lovely property and was ideal for our two generations to stay in. We chose to use public transport to get around not realising that a lot of services stop at the end of August. Would recommend having a car. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the St Jorioz beach.

Thank you very much for your review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our house, the lake and St Jorioz beach, and that the property was well suited to your two generations. We are sorry that travelling without a car made some aspects of your stay more difficult than expected. As you mention, some bus services operate differently after the end of August. In our house guide, we specifically advise guests to check the SIBRA website for the current timetables, as we cannot guarantee the frequency or availability of public transport services, which may vary depending on the season. During our ten years of welcoming guests, this is the first time that the availability of public transport has been mentioned as a difficulty. We have also welcomed guests who came by bicycle and had a very enjoyable stay. However, for a group of seven wishing to explore the lake and surrounding area, we agree that having a car is generally a much more practical option. Our listing and house guide also provide information about distances, and a bicycle rental shop is located just 300 metres from the house. Had you contacted us before booking to discuss your plan to come without a car, we would of course have been happy to share our experience and advise you about what would be most convenient. We are nevertheless very pleased that you enjoyed the house and your time in Saint-Jorioz, and we thank you again for staying with us.

We had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful vacation here. The house, the garden, and the pool all offer a beautiful view of the mountains. The house is stylishly furnished. There are plenty of shopping options nearby. The garage has space for one car.

Florence and Eric were very welcoming and friendly hosts. They were available at check in to explain everything we needed to know about the house. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was lovely and the children were able to swim in it every day. The location was excellent and we had wonderful views of the mountains and Lake Annecy. There were lots of good supermarkets nearby. The neighbourhood was also very quiet and peaceful. The traffic around the lake was quite bad because we visited in peak season however, it was quiet in Saint Jorioz because we were further up the mountain away from the busy lake. We hired bikes very close to the house and we were able to cycle around the lake. We were able to visit lots of attractions during our stay. We went to Annecy, Geneva, CERN, Lausanne, Grenoble, Chamonix (Mont Blanc), Gorges du Fier, Grotte et Cascade de Seythenex, Château Menton St Bernard etc! We would definitely recommend this property to others who would like to stay in the Annecy area.

Heaven on earth!

Florence and Eric welcomed us into their wonderful home, beautifully furnished and decorated with taste. Very clean too. The most time we spent in the garden, pool and on the balcony, from which the view on the lake and surroundings is excellent. We played their board games as well. Very quiet neighborhood and a tip to rent bikes from La Conty (Paul is very friendly).

Our family of six loved our stay at this villa. Perfectly clean, well equipped and family games available. The villa has a lot of charm and is full of interesting ornaments and paintings that the owners have collected on their travels which gives the property character. Eric and Florence were very welcoming and happy to help with anything. The pool is great and our kids enjoyed lots of time there. Oh and the views are spectacular. The location is perfect for exploring Lake Annecy. We spent a couple of days at the beach in Saint Jorioz which was quieter than the main town of Annecy but still offered water sports and swimming without the crowds and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.We loved it.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated villa owned by a lovely couple. The house, the garden, and the pool are very clean and well maintained. Spectacular mountain views! It is a 10-15 min bike ride to the lake with a beach, walking/biking path and bike rental, marina, supermarket, and all local amenities. Also, a short drive or a bus ride away from the much busier in the summer Annecy creating a great balance between the calm surroundings of the villa and an easy access to the restaurants, shopping, and historic visits of the bigger town. The location is equally superb for an active lifestyle or a relaxing, quieter vacation. The owners treated us to a welcome wine gift and were consistently easy to contact and responsive. We greatly enjoyer our stay!

Quality villa in superb location

Owners are very welcoming with excellent communication. Villa is really well placed for access to small town with shops and the lake , whilst remaining very private. The pool was great and garden well equipped with chairs, tables, parasols and recliners. Inside was spotless. There was plenty of space for a family of 8 across 3 generations. There was everything we needed with good space for washing and drying. We loved it and after years of holidaying in France would highly recommend it. Thank you Florence and Eric.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans la maison de Florence et Éric.Le logement est parfaitement conforme à l'annonce : il est grand, très bien équipé et particulièrement fonctionnel. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et nous ont partagé de superbes idées de balades et de restaurants. On ne manque de rien dans cette jolie propriété, idéalement située et au calme.La vue sur les montagnes depuis le jardin et les grandes baies vitrées est magnifique. Exceptional property

A full of character, large, well equipped property. We were greeted warmly by the property owners and nothing was too much trouble. We were three generations and the spacious house, garden and pool suited all of our needs. I would strongly recommend this property.

Un très bon sejour

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette magnifique maison et ce malgré une météo capricieuse La maison est spacieuse et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire. Magnifique séjour à St-Jorioz

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à St-Jorioz! La maison est telle que décrite, très spacieuse, hyper propre, avec un grand jardin, une magnifique piscine, et une cuisine super équipée pour cuisiner. Le quartier est très calme, on se sent vraiment à la campagne, tous en étant très près du lac et des commerces. Top!

Séjour magnifique

Très belle maison tout confort avec vues magnifiques L entretien du jardin n est pas à la hauteur de la maison. Seule la belle piscine fonctionne l été mais ce n est pas gênant Toute la famille a adoré !

Lovely house, stunning views

Fabulous stay at this stylish house. Great location, walkable into St Jorioz or an easy cycle down to the lake cycle path. Nice quiet neighbourhood with lots to do close by. Hopefully we will be back soon- thank you!

Très agréable maison, bien équipée et proche de tout

Maison très agréable disposant de tous les équipements (piscine, cuisine, salles de bains, etc) et proche du lac, des commerces. Le panorama est superbe au milieu des montagnes.

Very nice, beautiful house owned by very lovely people

We stayed in this very beautiful house, which was also very well equiped. The location is perfect with great views. For sure to be recommended. Futher Annecy is nearby, also it is possible to go hiking just around the corner. For sure we will come back.
