This home was very nice. The property manager was very communicative and made the check in process easy. The house was appointed nicely with plenty of supplies, dishes, and kitchen utensils. One of the best stocked cabins we've stayed in, and we rent mountain cabins often. The best thing was the peaceful mountains, the quiet nature, and the beautiful view. All in all, a great trip, and a great place to stay.

Hi Jimmy- I am glad you had a nice stay in the home and enjoyed the location. We have checked the bathroom rug and replaced it. The "dirt" was actually rubber on the bottom flaking off. We appreciate your feedback.
Best Regards, Cam
Had a great time in Ashville our first trip. Rented e bikes and had dinner at OMNI resort and went to Mount Mitchell to see beautiful fall color along Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great House and Location
We had a great time here; the living/dining area is laid out well for larger groups, and once you go outside the deck had great views and it was centrally located for the activities we wanted to do (mountain biking and rafting to the north, Asheville to the south). With a variety of routes to take to/from town, you get to know and see this beautiful area and the scenery it has to offer.

Seamless booking and interaction before we arrived. Property was immaculate when we got there. A truly spectacular view of the mountains from the deck!!! Will definitely return.

We stayed at this mountain top home with family and friends. It was perfect for our needs. We were able to do things that the whole family enjoyed like visiting antique shops, horseback riding, hikes to see waterfalls, visiting small towns around the cabin. At night we were able to have family dinners, play games, do jigsaw puzzles. We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious mountain retreat
We had a lovely stay with family at this spacious mountain home. The drive to Asheville was a lot closer than I had expected and very beautiful. The house was also larger than we expected, we had 10 of us, and we didn't even use the bottom floor bedroom.

The home worked very well for my family get together. There was plenty of room, the house was clean and communication with Cam was easy. I wish the game tables had been in a warmer spot - it was cold and damp when we were there so didn’t get to use them.

Great property except for the roads to get there - too curvy and very steep driveway.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the house. In response to the road, "too steep" is relative to opinion of the driver. Our home is lower down on the mountain and the road is well paved. Our driveway is steep but also paved. Yes there is a pitch to it all but they are not difficult for most in my opinion. I provide a video of the drive before checkin.

Nice property, great communication with property manager Camille
Overall, this was a great house. There were a few minor issues, but no property is perfect 100% of the time. The house was definitely large enough for a party of 12, and the kids appreciated all the games onsite. The location was nice —a bit off the beaten path—but a scenic drive. Camille was very responsive, both before and during our stay. Great experience!

Hi Scarlet- Thank you for your kind review, and understanding that nothing is perfect. I have 4 homes in the area and this one is my favorite because it is less crowded, I love the scenery north of Asheville, and I enjoy Weaverville. It's such a pretty town. I enjoyed our chats and I appreciate that you cared for the home so well. Please come back to see us again. Best Regards, Cam
It’s a great place for a little gateway. Very beautiful views and plenty of games for the kids to play inside in the house and in the garage. The property manager also was very responsive. It is quite steep and narrow road and driveway to the house. We were not impacted but if there was snow or ice, I couldn’t see it how we would have been able to make it. Overall, a great stay and nice place for family vacation!

Hi Yoana- Thank you for your kind review and for being such a great guest. You're correct, in the ice and snow you need the proper vehicle to get up and down the road, otherwise it's no problem the majority of the time. Kindest Regards, Cam
The property was beautiful and the perfect size for our family. However. I should have done more research. It was a little farther away from our activities and the drive was up the mountain was not for the faint of heart. It was a wonderful time!

The house is lovely. Our group included 2 ten year old girls, grandma, and mom & dad. We enjoyed playing games in the evening. The view is beautiful and the night sky is full of stars. Our focus was visiting Asheville; once we were out for the day we stayed out until after dinner. We did not cook in the house; there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen. This is a perfect house for a large group of people.

Fishing Near Ashville
This house was a perfect fit for our family of 2 children, their spouses, 2 grandchildren and me and my husband. Each family had their own bath. Great! One family cooked dinner each night and the kitchen worked great as long as the rest of us stayed away. The deck did have gorgeous views, except it rained 3 out of 4 days. My biggest complaint is that this house is 10 miles east of Weaverville which greatly impacted the departure times for my fisherman husband and son. Take the Route 197 to get there. Not very steep like the other way.

A Spiritual Place
At Greenridge falls I feel the same kind of peace and clarity that I feel while onboard an airplane and flying in the clouds. Still and quiet with little to no distractions. My favorite thing to do was watch the sun rise from the loft in the morning. Shades of yellow and orange above the mountain tops gave me a sense of inner calm.
Also pleasing were our trips to Weaverville. We had a delicious Japanese meal at Soba. Tasty, fresh food and friendly service at the Stoney Knob. Cake, coffee and great conversation at the Bakery. Not a single bad experience.
Had all that we needed and more at this private yet convenient location.
We all just had such a wonderful and special time. The best vacation of my life!!!
I plan on returning again.

Might be helpful to prep renters that driveway is VERY steep!
Home is nice but in need of updating…
All mattresses in main floor bedrooms and in downstairs bedroom need replacing. Extremely firm - rock hard. One pillow in twin bedroom needs replacing.
Would definitely recommend dehumidifier in basement. Bedroom on that floor feels wet.
Check your Internet list of do’s for furnace and air conditioner rules for leaving…. One page says turn air conditioner off. Thankfully we looked at paper on frig.
Totally understand need for rules, because of inconsiderate guests. Have never been told to put away clean dishes from dishwasher…just start it before leaving. We all abided by the no shoes in the house rule, since we’re used to that at home. But imagine that is hard for some.
Nice deck and furniture there.
Good seating in family room.

I provide visuals of the driveway prior to arrival. We have a home in the mountains, most of which have steeper roads and driveways. Please know this when you book a home in the mountains. However by comparison ours is paved and tamer than many others in the area that I have seen myself. Though I do understand it is relative to the individual driver and that some people, often older people (as in this case), feel more scared. That is why everyone gets a video from the bottom of the subdivision to the very top of my driveway, as far out as 45 days prior to arrival. It is false to say there was no warning. All departure instructions state to turn the AC back up, not off. I checked, also false information. The house is as it is pictured in the photos, maybe with the exception of some bedding updates. It is clean, well maintained and priced accordingly. Especially for the number of people I allow. I work extremely hard to please my guests so it does sincerely disappoint me when one is simply not happy, as was the case with this one. In this business we accept that this will happen, and we review and consider all opinions.
Thank you for opening your home up to us. The home is breathtaking, the fall foliage views were beautiful. Our daughter got ready for her wedding here and it was more than I could have dreamed of!
