1st Floor & Pet Friendly with Private Fenced Yard - Across from Beach Walkover

Easy Access Ground Level Apartment - Pet friendly with furnished patio, grill with propane and private fenced yard. King in master bedroom, 2nd sleeping area has double bed. Dog friendly. It is located at the 7th street beach walkover for quick and easy beach access, approximately a 100 foot walk. Only a six block walk into town for dining and great entertainment. This is a townhouse unit in a building that has three units.

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE "PET" BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs and we do not accept cats or birds. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let us know the breed/s and weight/s of your dog/s upon booking.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The yard was beautiful with flowers and fruit trees. Monarch butterflies everywhere. Bed was comfortable and clean. The best part was how close to the beach we were! Excellent stay and are planning a return trip in the future!

Perfect Location!!!

Our stay here was more than perfect! The unit is only steps away from the beach and close to all the restaurants on the island. Alicia was great and made us feel welcome during our stay. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again when we visit Folly!

Excellent location!

This is a great property for the price, very comfortable, cute, and clean. But the best thing is the location - a short walk to the beach. Can’t beat it. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you !

Great place to stay

Location was wonderful. It was just steps to the beach from the accommodation. Very clean, beds were comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor area. It was a mile into the shops and restaurants. The owner and manager were so sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great place close to the beach!!

We were very happy with this rental. The bed was super comfortable and every thing was clean!! We have rented the other units in this building and just like the other ones this unit was great!! The owner is super easy to get a hold of and is quick to respond!!

The property was well located, just far enough from shops that they didn’t bother you, but close enough to walk to, inside the house was much more spacious and great space for my family of 5, The property owner was super sweet and loved next door she was available anytime

Great Dog Friendly Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was bigger than we expected with a nice layout that suited our needs perfectly. The house was nice and clean when we arrived and the property manager was very helpful with anything we needed. Beach access is very close and this end of the beach is not very crowded at all. It is about a one mile walk up to the main strip where there are plenty of restaurants and most of them allow dogs on the patio. We plan to stay here again in the not so distant future. Really happy with our trip to Folly Beach.

We had an issue on our second day but Alicia was very responsive and it was handled immediately. Other than that, we had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay. :)

Location location location!

The apartment is very clean but a little funky there is a slight animal scent from wet dog residents I assumed; we didn’t bring our dogs as no bully mix dogs are allowed. Note you have to go thru the bathroom to access bedroom with full size bed I felt bad for our friend who stayed in that room as we pee a lot at night! 😂 Tempur-pedic king size bed was lumpy and 1st night I woke up in pain, however it didn’t faze my husband. I moved to the twin bed in the alcove and it was very comfortable. It’s all about the location and easy access to the beach!! I gave 4 stars due to the bed and smell.

Property was awesome! We loved the small yard which also had a small patio and landscaping was really pretty with well maintained foliage. Beach access was just steps away as advertised and the apartment was really clean and perfectly beach- weathered. Alicia is easy to reach and she is adorable! We had no issues during our stay and will definitely stay again. The property has the old Folly Beach feel!

Loved the super close proximity to the beach and that it was dog-friendly! Was so easy to come back and forth between the beach and house throughout the day. The place was well equipped with all we needed, including towels and beach chairs, which is a big plus! King bed was quite firm, but that just comes down to preference. Overall, would definitely recommend staying and we really enjoyed our time!

Chastain's Cottages has been in business since 1941 on Folly Beach. Lois Chastain moved from GA to work at the Naval Shipyard during the war. Eula bought houses and rented them to pay for them. We have 5 rental units - 3 smaller apartments across from the beach and 2 oceanfront houses. Lunnette will be 90 in 2024. She was Miss Folly Beach 1948! Alicia is the third generation and happy to help and to answer any questions.
