Spacious Talkeetna home on Ruth Glacier Avenue

Looking for a fully furnished, comfortable house that can sleep 10? This 2-story home has a master bedroom on the main floor with a king bed. On the main floor you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry closet and a bathroom. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms each with queen beds, two bonus rooms that have two twin beds each and a bathroom servicing them. There is a covered deck that hosts a propane grill, couches, tables and chairs for your outdoor relaxation surrounded by a grass yard. Lots of parking in the driveway. We are located just off the Talkeetna Spur road. We are 4 miles from the Parks Highway Junction and 10 miles from Talkeetna's town site. We are directly across from the bike path that connects the Parks Highway with the Talkeetna townsite.

Hands down one of the best properties we have ever stayed in! It has such a great charm to it and is well stocked with the essentials. The hosts truly go above and beyond with this property and it shows. The yard is immaculate and our kids played for hours out in the beautiful grass. Would absolutely stay here again!

This place was perfect for visiting Denali and Talkeetna. We loved that it was well stocked and literally only needed clothes and a few things to eat. We loved that coffee, sugar, dish soap, towels, blankets and so much more were provided. Temperatures were fantastic and the porch was wonderful for eating dinner.

Fantastic host. Owner was very attentive even down to stocking seasonings and little pantry staples to facilitate cooking. She was easily reachable if we had any questions. House was very comfortable, clean, and spacious which worked great for our party of 8. Loved it.

Great place to stay just outside Talkeetna

The house fit all of us great, and had very many bonuses and thoughtful touches. The lawn and patio area was especially nice.

In 1994, we started building our family home. Every inch of our property has been created by our hands. We raised our three children in this house. Now that they are all adults, we are starting a new adventure. We'd like to welcome you into our beloved home.

Why they chose this property

For our family this home has always been comfortable and conveniently located for our busy lives. We believe it would be that for any person wishing to vacation in Talkeetna. Close to the 'Y' where the grocery store, hardware store, credit union and gas station are located. Denali Brewing's tasting room (one of Alaska's most popular craft breweries) is just 1 1/2 miles from our location. Talkeetna town site is just 10 miles up the road.
