4 bedroom house with great ocean view

We love the front porch with a view the most. When we were all together. This is where we spent most of our time. Good size kitchen with plenty of amenities. 5 separate bedrooms and two bathrooms is a plus. We had party of 8 staying there plenty of room.

The house is older but is situated right across the street from the water. Seals played and sun bathed every morning 50 steps away. We enjoyed drinks both mornings and evenings on the front porch. There are many great towns and cities just a short car ride away. The house is situated on a blind curve and small front yard. This may be something to consider for families with very young children.

Beautiful location

Views were awesome. House is older but kept well. Only complaints were the mattresses and lack of trash barrels. The one bin was full when we got there so we had to leave the garbage in green bags The mattresses are old and not easy to sleep on. Otherwise we had an awesome time. Great for a family. We would definitely stay there again but for a longer time.

This house was lovely! Obviously a little far from the beaches in town, but so peaceful and relaxing. The front porch was the best part - I enjoyed my coffee every morning watching the sunrise from the chase lounge in the corner. The street is a little busy, especially around that corner so we were constantly keeping an eye on the kids. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Only disappointment was there were no beach chairs, but we did bring a few of our own. Our family members that rented homes closer to the beach were jealous of all the space we had and the location with the water views. Would definitely stay there again!

Celebrating 60 in Wells Beach

This home finished in1886 is very true to its era with a framed document stating such. There is also an album of generations of the original family sharing their time and selling to a new family in the 80’s. Windows redone, some newer appliances and the original wide plank hardwood floor intact. Truly a joy to stay and watch the sunrise diagonally across the street at 6:40am every day. My family enjoyed the wraparound front porches and relaxed there often. Thank you,

A wreck in progress

We arrived with a 10 digit keypad entry code for what turned out to be a 4-wheeled lock box. Vacasa (who is like another $$ middle man between VRBO and guest) managed to figure out the lockbox code after 10 minutes. Outside trash was overflowing, carpets stained, several dishes chipped or cracked, afraid to sit on some of the chairs for fear they might collapse. And although it says parking for 3, it’s really only for 2 stacked. The “3rd” spot behind the house is not wide enough for a car to avoid driving over neighbor’s irrigation. We were told there was a second lockbox with another key, but we never saw it, and the back porch was so musty it was unusable. Needs a major rehab for the money.

Sweet ocean views!

Very nice views right near the ocean! Air conditioning (maybe a unit for downstairs and options for upstairs would be nice). We were there when it was very hot so it was a little too steamy for our crew. Need screens for kitchen - really a must.

Weekend at the Ocean

We were in town for my parents’ 60th anniversary party. Since our family has now outgrown their house, we had to rent something. It was absolutely perfect. I grew up in this town and have always loved the ocean but we never had the luxury of living on it. Hearing the waves at night and sipping morning coffee with a picturesque view from the enclosed porch was beyond amazing. Everything was as stated in the listing. Checking in and out was a breeze. And the place was really clean and comfortable. Hope to return one day soon!

The perfect house for a relaxing getaway by the ocean! Fantastic location right across the street from the ocean with a short walk down to the beach. Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean as were all the living spaces. Best was watching the sunrise from the enclosed porch, perfect place for a morning coffee!

Amazing Location!

The house is the perfect beach cottage. We loved how close we were to the beach and being able to see the water from the front porch. The only thing I would have liked to see would be an outdoor shower and an open air porch, but neither of these would make me dislike the house. Our kids were even asking if we could come back next year!
