Charming apartment tastefully renovated, 5 minutes walk from the train and bus, allowing lovely walks to the main monuments and museums of the historic center. The balcony with a veranda overlooking a courtyard away from the street, an oasis to relax, maybe sipping wine or tasting good food.
Perfect to really experience the center of Florence.
I highly recommend a walk along the nearby River Arno at sunset, when the colors of the sun reflecting on the water towards the Ponte Vecchio.

Perfect Florence getaway!

My wife and I loved our stay here. The apartment was quiet and clean. Leonardo was very responsive and accomodating with our changing schedules for arrival and departure. The balcony was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening! Very private. Location was great...walking distance to everything we had planned and plenty of options for food and groceries close by. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

This apt. Is about a 5 min walk from the train station, leonardo gave us great directions and meet us at the front door, he will carry your bags up to the apt. The bed was very comfortable, there are blackout shades which were great, we had our best night sleeps here. The balcony is wonderful after a day of touring Florence it is a great way to end each evening. There is a very detailed book leonardo has put together and will answer all your questions it was very helpful. It was very easy to get everywhere you want to go by walking nothing seem more than a 20 min. Walk. He is close to the river too, a beautiful walk, you can see the Ponte Vecchio bridge maybe a 10min walk. We like a restaurant MASO on the corner right outside the apt. Good pizza and pasta. We would come back and stay at Leonardo place again.

Charming small apartment close to everything

Small but charming apartment with a charming covered balcony; interior view; very quiet. For 2 people plus/minus a child. Tiny bathroom with good shower; kitchen complete as needed. About 50-stair stone staircase to get in, but three typical and great little restaurants and grocery stores within 50 paces from door. Would go back.

Nice apartment within walking distance of the Duomo and major museums. We loved the patio in the back, nice to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The restaurant across the street, Il Contadino, is quite good and reasonably priced.

The apartment was in the perfect location, easy to get everywhere. It is a short 5/10 minute walk from the train station. It was a few flights of stairs but no problem for us. The apartment is very secure and stocked with everything you would need. Leonardo was quick to respond to any need. Especially loved having morning coffee on the terrace.

Convenient to train station. Wonderful gracious host. The walk along Arno is wonderful. Courtyard view from lovely balcony. There are stairs so not for someone with mobility issues. Great bedroom, small but adequate bath. We enjoyed our stay & appreciated Leonardo's hospitality. He even met us at the train station. Huge help as our Italian is non existent. Loved the balcony & doggie did not bother us at all, but we are dog friendly. Only heard him a few times.not a problem. & we really did not hear the neighbors through the walls. Balcony overlooks a pleasant courtyard.

Lovely place, great location

Just outside of the busy tourist area but very close by. It is a short walk to the train station. The owner met us at the apartment early so we could drop our bags off. Th place was very clean and cute, had everything we needed. The balcony is fantastic and we spent a great deal of time relaxing there. Would definitely recommend

Heart of Florence!

THE BIG PRO: The biggest pro is that the apartment is stunningly beautiful, with a gorgeous balcony, in the heart of Florence. It's exactly what we wanted. And Leonardo is so friendly and accommodating -- a gracious host. THE FEW CONS: 1) The WiFi is...not really WiFi -- this was misleading, in my opinion. You have 1GB to use per day (for all devices) and that's it -- I was over the limit after <1 hour of scrolling Twitter and Instagram. Definitely no movie watching, or streaming. If you are expecting unlimited WiFi, you will not find it here. 2) The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything, and vice versa. And the neighbor has a barking dog. If you're looking for auditory privacy, there is none to be had here. Bring earplugs. I would definitely stay here again if I ever am fortunate enough to return to Florence!

A wonderful visit with a great host.

Leonardo was such a considerate host, providing all the details needed for a wonderful time in Florence. The apartment was warm, clean and comfortable, and VERY neat the SMN train station. There was nothing better than coming home after a chilly day of sightseeing and walking to a hot shower and a cup of tea (with biscotti,found at a small market around the corner!) It was far too cold and windy to enjoy the,porch too much even with the heater. I hope I can stay here again when i return to Florence.

Great quiet apartment!

We loved staying at this apartment! It was nice and quiet at night and in the morning since it faces a courtyard. The train station was less than a 5 minute walk, and most tourist attractions were less than 15 minutes away. There are a few flights of stairs required to get up to the apartment so I would not recommend it for anyone with disabilities, but most of Europe is like that unless you stay at a hotel. We also didn't notice before we booked that there is no WiFi but there were plenty of places close by to use the WiFi while having a glass of wine. Leonardo was a great host and was always quick to respond. He was also very flexible with our check in time and allowed us to drop off our bags early. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Leonardo!

What makes this property unique

The distinguishing feature of this apartment is the balcony, large, sufficiently well covered and sheltered by a veranda, has remained in the heart of all the guests who have stayed there.
Also overlooks a large courtyard away from the street, it does not really seem to be in the city center.
Considering the proximity of the station of Santa Maria Novella become an excellent accommodation for exploring on foot the main tourist attraction in Florence.
