About this property

Sunny with decks and bush/harbour views. Three bedrooms. Pet friendly.

Sunlit and tranquil, with a view over tree ferns/ponga and native bush to the inner harbour/Lorenzen Bay.

Full length windows/slider doors and a high timber lined ceiling create a sense of openness and space, in this architecturally designed bach.

The ground level living/dining/kitchen area opens onto a private deck with outdoor seating and BBQ.

Downstairs the three bedrooms open onto a lower deck. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two single beds. Shower and toilet downstairs, as well as a separate toilet upstairs.

The main deck (opening from living/dining area) is fully fenced, and small/medium sized dogs are welcome. There is no outdoor fenced area. Please contact me to discuss if suitable for your pet.

Close to town and beaches. Five mins walk to sheltered harbour bays (Cox Bay and Lorenzen Bay), with swimming at high tide. Twenty minutes walk to The Wharf (fish and chips, bar, pottery etc) and twenty minutes walk into Raglan Town Center. Ten to fifteen mins drive to ocean beaches and surf spots (Waimanu Beach, Ngarunui Beach, Manu Bay, Whale Bay).

Cleaning and bed linen and towels included in fee (no extra charge). Unlimited data (Fibre).

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing few days here. So peaceful and private with bush and water views. Comfy sofas and big squishy cushions for relaxation, reading and afternoon naps. Beautiful bush outlook from multiple decks

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It had all the necessities and comforts we needed. It has dining, kitchen and lounge upstairs (ie. The level you arrive at) and sleeping and bathroom downstairs. Beware of the connecting stairs however, these are solid timber and relatively steep.

great property hidden with private settings overlooking a native bush filled culvert. peaceful and quiet. birdsong our music. really close to town, and the house had all we needed for our stay. no dishwasher or laundry- but small inconveniences. would stay again.

Home away from home- seriously!

My daughter (17) and I absolutely loved our stay. Anna’s communication was fantastic, and we felt welcomed even before we had started our journey to Whaingaroa (Raglan). The house is very inviting, and had ample space for the two of us, yet with the three bedrooms and large living area, we could have easily had the rest of our family stay- and a couple of extra’s. Both decks (yes, an upper and lower deck) again give ample space for relaxing, reading, eating, or enjoying the bush during the day- and the song of the various birds-or the stars at night.There is a peacefulness and warmth that comes not only from the location, but the various pieces that adorn the walls. You truly feel like you are at home when you first arrive, and that feeling remains for the duration of your stay.We loved the proximity to a couple of beautiful wee bays, as well as only a brief drive to grab coffee and kai- thanks for the coffee advice, Anna!We have raved about your whare to the rest of our family, and we will definitely stay again.

A great Kiwi holiday house.

A great Kiwi holiday house. Perched high on the hill with harbour views (glimpses), caught the breeze nicely. Great outlook over the ponga trees below. Very well equipped with everything you need. Just turned up, chill out and enjoy the relaxed Raglan vibe. I'd recommend the better walk to town is via Government Rd, then along the water front, rather than down the main road (about 15 mins).

The property was as shown in the photos, lovely view of the harbour and bush. Great to have some games and toys for the little ones. Linen was provided which made life easier for me. Nice touches around the place like some shampoo and heated towel rails. Plenty of cooking pots, utensils and serving dishes -loved the BBQ. All the family had a great holiday.
